Client need a Business Objects Admin with  strong UNIX.

Job Description:

  • Administering and supporting Unix based Business Objects infrastructure.
  • Application support - work with application developers to trouble-shoot and fine-tune crystal report applications, also guide application developers in best practices related to using the underlying UNIX infrastructure.
  • Performance Tuning - to achieve optimal performance for computational intensive applications
  • Design & Architecture - Suggest and improve systems design and architecture for both systems and applications. Work with Architects to provide feedback on system capacity / issues
  • Communication - There will also be some client contact, and some project management skills required

Qualification:

·         Must have min 5 years hands-on experience with Business Objects Installation, administration, and support. Hands on experience with Business Objects Enterprise XI R3.1 including Crystal Reports 2008, WEBI, Universe and Report design and Performance Management modules.

·         Experience in working with Solaris 10, Oracle 11g, DB2, ksh/perl scripting experience required.

·         Good knowledge of application and web servers like Weblogic10, Apache and Java components.

·         Ability to troubleshoot problems, performance tuning & analyze performance statistics.

·         Hands on experience in dealing with product vendors either related to product or issues.

·         Ability to take owner ship of any issue till it is resolved. (Through complete project life cycle)

·         Weekend work for system maintenance and require carrying a pager 24/7 when on call.

·         College or Graduate Degree is preferable.

Need at least 5 years of US client experience. 

1. Develop and document programs to create analysis datasets summarizing key clinical trial data. 
2. Develop and document programs and to produce tables, listings and other reports and analyses summarizing clinical trial results. 
3. Perform and document quality control checks for programs. 
4. Assist in testing and implementation of new and updated internally and externally developed software as well as new SAS releases. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES / DETAILED DUTIES: 
1. Participate in the development and review of study-specific procedures; participate in clinical project team meetings as required. 
2. Assist with the development of case report forms. 

PRINCIPAL RELATIONSHIPS: 
Clinical Research Programming 
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics or other scientific field (or equivalent theoretical/technical depth). 

Related Experience:
