Department Overview
This contract position is with the Online Marketing team, within the Corporate Marketing organization. Corporate Marketing´s role is to shorten the sales cycle – plain and simple. We make it easier for employees, partners and customers to understand what products and services we have. We´re responsible for much of what the customer sees and hears about Symantec. Responsibilities
We are currently looking for an Online Business Analyst with experience and skills in Web Analytics and reporting. Therefore this individual will need to have a hands-on experience with Adobe Sitecatalyst, Discover but also with Excel and PowerPoint.
This individual will be responsible for collecting and analyzing web data to monitor website performance (against defined key metrics) and for creating/maintaining compelling reports and KPI dashboards that will be reviewed by different level of management on a weekly/monthly basis. He/She will also run ad-hoc and deep-dive analyses aimed at providing the business with key insights and learning about our web site visitors.
In this role, the Online Business Analyst will interface with various internal groups/functions in order to properly execute various analyses. Therefore he/she will have to be able to quickly form productive and positive working relationships with staff from varying business backgrounds and skill levels across the organization. The right candidate will be a self-starter and an independent worker who can be successful in a team environment. This is a contract position in the Corporate Online Marketing team.
Specific Responsibilities include:
Web Analytics and Reporting:
• Produce weekly/Monthly site performance reports and KPI dashboards that include segmentation analysis.
• Effectively respond to ad-hoc report and analysis requests from Management and from other Marketing teams
• Independently run deep-dive analyses in specific areas based on observations, identified patterns
• Prepare and present recommendations, reports, and findings from the analyses.
• Provide observations and business context to deliver actionable insights to business leads.
• Communicate ideas effectively by telling the story behind data.
• Ensure proper quality control over a wide range of reporting assets
Qualifications
• Statistics, Computer Science, Business degree or applicable experience
• 3+ years hands-on Web Analytics experience, preferably working with Adobe/Omniture SiteCatalyst and Discover
• Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting data and drawing conclusions.
• Advanced skills with Excel including charts and data presentation. Tableau and SQL a plus
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), both in articulating his/her ideas and gathering input from key stakeholders
• Experienced user of MS PowerPoint
• Knowledge of website technology a plus (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:
• Act as the Company's receptionist, greet visitors and ensure the flow of guests
• Using the individual's fluency with the Japanese language and culture, participate in meetings and conference calls with senior staff to translate when employees are speaking with the Company's Japanese partners; may periodically travel to Japan for up to one week, as requested by the CEO
• Regularly inventory and order the Company's supplies for kitchen, office, IT and others
• Ensure shipment of FedEx or other packages as requested; schedule pick-ups or drop off as necessary
• Assist in other areas such as A/P, IT, Human Resources and contracts administration as requested
• Coordinate delivery and set-up of meeting details, such as GoTo Meeting, conference calls and any food or beverages being served
• Working with the Company's travel agent, assist employees with periodic travel
• Participate in other assignments as requested
Desired Skills & Experience:
• BA/BS preferred. 3+ years' administrative or office management experience. Biotechnology/pharmaceutical background is a plus.
• Must have very fluent Japanese and English language skills, with the ability to translate clearly in both languages as requested
• Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive short distances to drop off packages or pick up food/beverages for meetings or employees
• Must have the ability to prioritize and effectively perform in a fast paced environment
• Must be a self-starter with a positive, "can-do" attitude
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills, particularly Outlook and all MS Office applications. Must be well versed in using the internet to source products/supplies, place orders and trace shipments; must have knowledge of software applications such as GoTo Meeting and Skype to assist with meeting preparedness

This position will be CTO for a Big Data Platform. Responsible for Engaging in the research and development Big Data platform technology.
Responsibilities;
· Leading develop the technology roadmap of Big Data platform, and lead team to achieve industry-
lead technology competiveness.
· Analyze the industry layout and value of Big Data, and develop Big Data strategic planning.
· Excavate key requirements of Big Data in Product of Huawei IT and CT line, and develop the
business planning.
· Leading perform technical feasibility analysis and define the architecture specification
· Leading analyzing Big Data technology trends and competitive study
· Define the business use cases, analytic capabilities, services, and value proposition for
unstructured data or multi-structured data Offers and Services.
· Understands how the capabilities of the emerging Big Data space address specific
customer problems and issues.
Required skills:
- 20+ years working experience. 10+ years experience with demonstrable successes in the Big Data Domain
- Required language skills including: Java, C++ ,SQL, J2EE.
· Required knowledge about Hadoop, Map-Reduce, Hbase, Cassandra, Un-structured data, Big-table,
New Sql, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, OLAP, J2EE, Cloud Computing, Big Data
Analytics, real-time, Data Mining, ETL
· Experience with massively parallel database systems with distributed node based processing
architectures
· Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate with various levels of management and
technical staff.
· Ability to apply methodology to organize new thoughts and ideas in an undefined space.
· Possesses excellent documentation skills to organize thoughts and ideas into documented and
reusable assets and offers
· 10+ years or above experience of Big Data development and design in companies like Google,
Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, eBay, SAP, Yahoo, Oracle, Microstrategy, or from Startup companies
like Metamarkets, Cloudera, ParAccel, Teradata, 10gen;
· Deep understanding in key technology of Big Data analysis, proficiency in data analysis,
data mining and stream process field, be capable of integrating the core technology of BI, DB and
OS.
· Experience with managing and handling large data set in diverse industries including sensors, social
media/ blogs, Semantic text mining, graph analysis, or natural language processing experience.
Preferred skills:
· Ability to communicate and work in multicultural environment
· Technology leads of domestic Big Data field
