·         Experience creating complex reports, dashboard applications and scorecards in the Cognos BI toolset

·         Ability to analyze and develop reporting systems architecture in Cognos BI

·         Knowledge of OLAP analysis and cube development

·         Hadoop experience a plus.

 

·         Person must be high level that can come in and train people on Cognos 10.2.

Software Application Developer (Java/J2EE)

Responsibilities include: Analysis of client business processes and functional requirements; with clients and develop design specification. Develop and implement middleware and GUI components. Develop and implement tools to support communication with devices and integrate with back-end systems using multi-tiered approach. Develop and deploy monitoring tools. Develop logic and code, and execute installation tasks for the management software and supported software modules. Writing and implementing test cases.

Req: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in CompSci, any Engg, CIS, Science, Math, Business or related with two years of experience (or Associates or/ Foreign Equivalent in above fields with four years of experience). OTHER REQUIREMENTS: (1)At least one years of software development experience in Design, development and deployment of Web-based Applications and Enterprise Applications using: Java, J2EE, Pascal, Jakarta Tomcat, Rational Rose UML, Delphi, Oracle, Enterprise Architect, Servlets, JSP, JDBC.(2) This position also requires at least one year of experience in object oriented analysis, and all the phases of software development life cycle including Analysis, design development, testing, implementation and follow up..
