Channel Impact is seeking an experienced event marketing manager to join our team. In this role, you will work side-by-side our high-tech client in the SF Bay Area, managing executive-level, end-customer events and partner advisory councils.

You must have an understanding of partner-level high touch events and executive marketing strategies while also possessing strong project and program management abilities, with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate is highly organized and comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders from individual contributors throughout the client's organization, to global field marketing counterparts and vendors.

This is a W2 position with Channel Impact for someone located in the SF Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

Strategize and execute customer and partner advisory councils and summits.

Oversee and manage overall plan: weekly reporting, timeline, audience acquisition efforts including communications plan creation and execution (invites to landing page).

Manage quarterly virtual meetings.

Coordinate and track hotel, transportation efforts, giveaways complimenting event logistics manager

Manage all communications pre, during and post events including printed materials (badges, printed agendas, signage) and virtual content (quick polls, post-event external and internal summaries).

Track F&B, space, signage, etc.

Manage pre/during and post event communications.

Build and manage customer comms portal – recruiting, content creation and scheduling support, membership base and comms.

General marketing support for all other program elements.

Desired Skills and Experience:

10+ years of B2B/Partner Marketing experience.

CMP Certification Desired.

BS/BA in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Copy-writing and copyediting experience.

Self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-oriented.

Organizational and Project Management skills.

Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and web tools.

EHP is looking to hire a Building and Grounds Maintenance worker. It's a part-time contract job, 15 – 20 hours a month, salary $17-18 / hour. Following are the specifics:

Ecumenical Hunger Program

Job Title: Building & Grounds Maintenance Worker (Contract Position)

Position Summary: This is a part-time position. Contractor is responsible for routine maintenance (and reporting) of the buildings and grounds and conducting miscellaneous repairs. Contractor must be pro-active, requiring minimal supervision and must be able to meet deadlines for work completion.

Contractor must be able to maintain and promote EHP's values of Compassion, Respect, Integrity, Empowerment, Sustainability and Teamwork.

This position is currently defined as 15 to 20 hours per month, performed (ideally) on a regular basis (e.g. same day/time period each week.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and update a detailed maintenance schedule of various tasks required to service the buildings and campus

Clean Building Exterior (remove spider webs, debris, wash windows, etc.)

Clear Leaves and Debris from Roofs and Gutters

Clean and track activity for ALL air vents, fans, HVAC filters in all buildings

Maintain washer hose and dryer vents

Maintain grounds (includes lawn care, trimming trees, spraying, etc.)

Clean outdoor furniture

Maintain log and check safety equipment (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers)

Minor repairs as needed (e.g., painting, clearing clogs)

Assisting staff handyman projects as needed

General Maintenance tasks and cleaning duties

Note: The job description shall not be construed as a contract and is not a complete list of all miscellaneous, incidental or other duties which may be assigned during normal operations. More effort/hours will be required at certain times of the year and/or as a result of unforeseen tasks.

Required Skills/Experience:

Minimum 1-year maintenance experience

Some construction experience preferred (light carpentry, plumbing)

Must be able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders

Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, exposure to dust, dirt, noise and chemicals

Must follow safety rule, proper use of power tools is essential

Ability to multi-task

Excellent organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Detail-oriented with emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation

Proactively seek resolution

High school diploma required

Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Event Manager to work side-by-side with our high-tech client helping to execute C-level partner events. The ideal candidate is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) with excellent program and event management skills.

This is a full-time W2 opportunity with Channel Impact that requires being in Palo Alto.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end event program management services

Send RFPs to hotels/venues, review proposals and negotiate contracts

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholder to set up and manage the event registration process

Assist with session development including speaker invitations and tracking, session selection, and collecting presentation materials

Work directly with vendors and partners on room set up, AV, WiFi order, and food and beverage needs for all events.

Manage all event logistics (ie. give aways, collateral, shipping, etc)

Support event marketing through website, emails, marketing design, and social media

Market and reach out to potential exhibitors, sponsors, and collaborators

Organize and lead internal event planning meetings

Track exhibitor and sponsor information

Help coordinate special events (dinners, cocktail hours, golf...) including making reservations, coordinating travel, and collecting RSVPs

Work with vendors on exhibit design and installation

Develop and maintain a project plan for each event you are managing

Update and maintain conference budgets

Develop and publish a Know Before You Go document for each event

Lead on-going stakeholder meetings for each event

Mange post event communications

Execute and analyze conference evaluations and make suggestions for meeting improvements

Assist in other marketing related activities as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years experience in meeting or event planning

Meeting planning certification(CMP) a strong plus

Excellent organization and project management skills

Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail, and strong follow-through

Self-starter with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Ability to work well alone and collaborate effectively and professionally with others

Experience staying on task and working under deadlines

Strong process orientation with priority for quality

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and partners
