Job Description:
We have partnered with a Large Consumer Production Company to provide them with a Chemist in Richmond, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible to Perform raw material evaluations for replacements and quality improvements. Additionally, the candidate will assist in mixing new trial batches and testing as needed. Work on specific material improvement projects as assigned. In addition mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Weighing and measuring of chemicals and raw materials is required.

Job Details:
Qualifications:
BA or higher degree in Chemistry;
Four-year Science degree also considered as well as Labs and hands on experience.
Additional requirements include effective communication skills - both written and verbal - including the ability to translate analytical data to non-technical individuals.
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. bend and stand for long periods of time.
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis. Weighing and measuring of chemicals and raw materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform raw material evaluations for replacements and quality improvements.
2. Assist in mixing new trial batches and testing as needed.
3. Work on specific material improvement projects as assigned.
4. Material PPAP profiles and DOE's as needed.
5. Weigh up and mix lab batches as needed per current instructions.
6. Assist other Client departments as needed.
7. Other duties as assigned.
