Job Description:

We have partnered with a large Financial company to provide them with a Network Analyst III in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the evaluation, testing and integration of new technology, methodologies, capacity planning and technical support of all network based technologies in order to ensure optimum system integrity and volume response. Additionally the candidate will provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for network related issues specifically in areas of end user support and customer support. Extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls is required. SSL Certificates management, SNMP, HTML and Certifications are preferred.

Department Summary:

IT Infrastructure Services is responsible for the implementation, administration and 24x7 support of all voice, data, Internet and desktop services at the client. These are the core services of IT for Customer access to account information and internal users in all locations.


Job Summary:

The Network Services Team for the client manages the evaluation, testing and integration of new technology, methodologies, capacity planning and technical support of all network based technologies in order to ensure optimum system integrity and volume response. This includes the evaluation, integration and support of new technology, methodologies, capacity planning and technical support in order to ensure optimum system integrity and volume response. The aspects of the Technical Infrastructure for this position include Cisco LAN/WAN/Firewall equipment, F5 equipment, Bluecoat equipment, external DNS, TCP/IP Management, WAN Optimization, Intrusion Prevention/Detection equipment, Wireless Access equipment and Internet access.

Essential Functions:.

* Ensure the integrity and availability of computer and data communication systems through effective management of computer resources specific to the network infrastructure.
* Ensure the computer systems exceed service level targets through the use of reliable products, services, network and system monitoring, penetration and security testing, and sound practices.
* Provide efficient, high quality technical support services to ensure timely response to queries, resolution of problems, and reporting/escalation of issues related to the systems.
* Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support for network related issues specifically in areas of end user support and customer support.
* Play a key role in the overall recommendation and design of system architectures, platforms and specifications in order to meet current and future business needs for the entire enterprise.
* Communicate planning and development, documentation, and status to management.
* Ensure that the environment is kept current with service and software update releases.
* Participate in business continuance planning, testing, and implementation.
* Assist seniors team members in maintaining all F5 BigIP Load Balancers, Bluecoat Caching devices, and External DNS records
* Work under the guidance of the senior team members and leaders
* Work with IT Security Manager and Information Security Officer to ensure the physical and logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of Client's systems is in accordance with Client policies, procedures and guidelines, taking appropriate actions for all violations
* Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
* Effectively manage priorities and communicate progress and impediments
* Ability to engage and influence team members as well as people external to the team
* Ability to use VersionOne (experience preferred)
* Ability to learn and foster Agile Scrum best practices and values
* Assist team members in maintaining all aspects of the Technical Infrastructure.
Experience & Qualifications:
Additional experience will include some Unix/Linux, SQL or Oracle database systems, cabling standards and methodologies, remote access systems, Office Automation, and general hardware, computer and telecommunication systems. Additional knowledge will include SSL certificates management, SNMP, HTML, and firewalls.

Education and/or Certifications:

· University degree in Computer Science or Related Field Experience.

· 4+ years experience in the internetworking field and 4+ years supporting a high volume production web environment.

· Certifications are a plus

* Excellent communication and leadership skills required.
* Well versed in project management methodologies and practices.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and rapidly changing environment.
* Thorough knowledge of data processing.
* In depth knowledge of data communication equipment and technologies within a LAN/WAN environment.
* Knowledge of Telephony communication equipment and technologies within a large corporate call center environment.
* In depth knowledge of TCP/IP and VoIP addressing and standards.
* DNS
* WAN Optimization
* Exceptional problem solving abilities
