Job Description:

We have partnered with a Large Financial Institution to provide them with a Scrum Master PM Infrastructure in Wilmington, Delaware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for will be responsible for planning, monitoring/reporting, administration, and Agile execution of multiple projects".. Additionally, the candidate will provide day to day operational scrumming and working on projects , as well as, leading the Sprint Team.

Job Description:

Highlight of Requirements:

§ This is a Level I resource.
§ They should have IT Infrastructure experience; Agile preferred but not required; multiple certifications not required.
§ We are looking for high performing, positive energy, enthusiastic individuals who will support the Agile / Kanban methodology in Infrastructure.
§ We are seeking less of the "Executive / Manager" type and more of the "day-to-day, roll you sleeves up, jump in and do work" type candidate.
§ In this role, they "will be responsible for planning, monitoring/reporting, administration, and agile execution of multiple projects".
§ Projects could be varying as we are staffing across our organization in Infrastructure to Scrum these teams – ie: Security, Command Center, Service Desk, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery
§ Day to day operational scrumming and working on projects
§ They will be Leading a Sprint Team
§ No direct reports
§ Work with team to manage needs, type of work they will be doing and how long it will take
§ Help organize the work


Job Summary:
In this role you will be responsible for planning, monitoring/reporting, administration, and agile execution of multiple projects to meet our business needs in accord with our organizational priorities, quality, budget, and time constraints.
Essential Functions:
Planning
·Schedule and facilitate sprint planning meeting(s) prior to the beginning of each sprint in accord with the scrum fundamentals.
·After Sprint Detail Planning has been completed communicate to the backlog owner the teams committed stories for the upcoming sprint.
·Support the Backlog Owner and Portfolio Manager in updating monthly the 30-60-90 release roadmap based on the health and priority of the stories of the backlog and planning poker estimates/sizing.
Agile Execution
·Schedule and facilitate daily stand up meeting @ same time and same location each day in accord with the scrum fundamentals.
· Represent the team daily at the scrum of scrum's (S2) meeting to report progress against burndown, if deviating from the ideal burndown line then communicate teams plan/commitment to get back to the line, report impediments for escalation, identify risks/concerns to the S3 to help resolve.
·Shield the team from external interferences, facilitate removing impediments that impact the teams ability to meet their commitments, enable close cooperation across all roles and functions with the goal of removing barriers.
·Coordinate with the Backlog Owner and Technical Lead in ensuring the team is prepared to do the demo or Sprint Review at the end of each sprint.
·Plan and coordinate resources within assigned teams and with other teams to provide required resources.
Monitoring and Reporting
·Monitor daily issues impacting the team in v1, if the team is not able to resolve the issue/impediment and needs to be escalated then report it at the scrum of scrum's (S2) meeting.
·Monitor daily the information radiators v1 or white/cork boards (if team is utilizing) and ensure they accurately reflect the current state. Including time and status.
·Report weekly (or as agreed w/ business sponsor) the status of the projects your scrum team is supporting.
·Provide the Release Managers with the list of backlog items being released to production with the upcoming sprint.
·Coordinate as needed with other PM's, Resource Managers, or Portfolio Manages the delivery of non-development components.
Administration
·Actively participate in the Scrum CoP, recommend and approve best practices and innovations on the wiki.
·Facilitate a project retrospective meeting at the end of each project in accord with project management fundamentals.
·Conduct periodic peer reviews of other SM/PM's.
·Monitor the wiki for Sprint Teams and ensure the team page accurately reflects the current state.

Experience & Qualifications:
·5+ years experience working in information technology for a mid to large sized organization
·2 - 3 years experience successfully delivering multiple cross functional projects that fulfilled business and/or IT needs and priorities with in quality, budget, and time constraints.
·.5 - 1 years experience Agile project management.
·Experience successfully establishing and managing supplier/vendor relationships in an IT environment.
·Systems integration experience involving the interfacing of complex systems components with one another.
·Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with relevant Deposit Products, Mortgage Products, and/or Securities Products systems implementation and integration experience.

Education and/or Certifications:
·B.S. Computer Science, MIS, or related technical field.
·Project Management Institute Certification and/or ScrumMaster Certification

·Strong personality, with the ability to manage, influence and lead people

·Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Project
