Job Responsibilities
· Manages both pre-sale and post-sale technical support activities including assessment of how company products meet customer needs and the preparation of product specifications for development and installation of customized applications/solutions.
· Lead a global team of 40 FAEs
· Lead strategy coordination within corporate with implementation and strategy execution in the field
· Provides pre-sale technical support in sales presentations and product demonstrations.
· Establishes and maintains lines of communication with design engineering on issues such as considerations for product reliability.
· Works with marketing and product managers to define new products and may provide insight from the field back to these groups.
· Creates and leads product training programs to transfer knowledge quickly and friendly to the FAE organization and other organizations as necessary
· Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
· The role will typically spend 50% of time providing pre-sale technical support and 50% of time providing post-sale technical support.
Required Qualifications
· BSEE preferred
· 15 years experience in the following areas ASICS, Firmware and Software competencies. Relevant experience in PC and Mobile Device industries including components and systems.
· Multinational company experience required.
· Professional leadership experience with APAC and EMEA required as well.
· 25-30% travel
