Human Resources Manager
Location: Dallas, TX

The ideal Human Resources Manager (HRM) will have a background in employment, recruiting, possesses a genuinely friendly persona, with excellent verbal and written skills, facilitation, listening and discerning skills in dealing with employees and external contacts. The HRM will lead engagement initiatives and should have experience in multistate, matrix Management Companies. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker and creative problem solver who can make recommendations and provide effective solutions in a timely manner. Manage employee relations, policies, benefits and compensation. HRM should be hands on, proactive business partner to internal clients. This position will report to the VPHR to deliver consistent customer service to field operations and the corporate office.

• Working with VPHR to develop appropriate strategies for internal clients regarding employee relations, disciplinary action, operations, and performance issues.
• Oversee benefit administration for a self-funded plan consisting of the development, costs and design
• Work closely with the payroll department to ensure all personnel and compensation data accurately flows into the payroll system for processing in a timely fashion for the region they are responsible for
• Must have the ability to coordinate and deliver training seminars for employees.
• Work with the VPHR to effectively educate the field about HR policies, procedures, performance management, recruitment, and employee relations' issues.
• Following through on requests from the field and Corporate in a timely fashion.
• Assist the VPHR in performing field HR audits.
• Staying abreast of local, state, and federal laws to maintain compliance.
• Assist clients with resolution to employee issues pertaining to leaves of absence, workers compensation, disability accommodations and labor relations.
• Investigating employee complaints, discrimination charges and assists in the resolution of employee issues.
• Ensure that all related records and reporting are completed accurately and on time (e.g. EEO-1, OSHA and I-9's)
• Building strong client relationships and provide quality service to the Corporate and field staff.

Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Psychology or Human Resources Management or equivalent work experience in the field of HR preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in multiple disciplines managing a staff and working within a matrix management structure.
• Must have inter-personal and influencing skills with leaders, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Must be a critical thinker with strong customer service orientation and solutions driven attitude.
• Must be able to adapt to a changing fast pace environment as we "grow" through the process.
• Must be willing to roll up sleeves and be part of the implementation process.
• Solid written communications skills with strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required with Paycom or Ulti-Pro preferred.
