Director of Marketing
The Director of Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. He or she will be responsible for a variety of marketing programs, including, but not limited to; EMN8 B2B and B2B2C corporate programs; management and execution of significant digital marketing programs on behalf of key clients, including customer acquisition and retention; key lead on strategic thinking around loyalty; other marketing strategy and management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• P&L responsibility, annual budgeting and marketing plans
• Develop Marketing strategies that ensure customer base growth with profitable returns
• Manage & improve existing digital marketing programs, including all forms of search
• Account management experience either at external marketing agency or within as an internal stakeholder
• Development of acquisition and retention programs for various customer types, product segments, retargeting, etc.
• Management of launch programs, online marketing programs, and Print marketing programs
• Familiarity with lead gen programs and trade show planning and execution
• Utilize analytics to monitor site activity and drive strategic marketing decisions
• Develop, plan, execute and analyze all direct marketing campaigns, including landing pages, sponsorship content, acquisition and retention emails, etc.
• Interface closely with Clients, IT, Engineering, Product, Finance and senior management on regular basis
• Develop and maintain customer loyalty programs.
• Participate as a strategic partner in the development of the company's long term plans
Experience and Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years measurable experience with a company (either brand or large online e-tailer) that relies heavily upon E-Commerce for its direct response marketing; experience should include a history of success in at least one of the following programs: Pay Per Click advertising, Email Marketing, Website Development/Management or Partner/Channel Management
• Demonstrated ability to grow lifetime value of a customer base, as a key part of a successful business enterprise
• Ability to work with large corporate clients to drive short, medium and long term planning on their behalf to drive digital programs
• Ability to create the strategic direction of increasing E-Commerce activity from a variety of online channels to expand market share
• Solid grasp of IT functionality within web structure, applications and operations management
• Understanding of how to utilize analytics to drive strategic marketing decisions
• Proficient in retention initiatives, including email, site merchandising, customization, and other
onboarding tools
• Effective and influential spoken, written, electronic and presentation skills essential with employees, vendors and cross-functional teams at all levels
• Proficient in online business management, ranging from IT platforming to order applications, order processing& fulfillment, forecasting and operations management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage others
Education / Skills:
• Minimum BA or BS degree is required; MBA is viewed favorably
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT
• Experience with database management systems preferred
• Experience with Google Analytics, as well as other analytics programs
• Strong IT skills and understanding
