Senior Product Designer

UpMetrics is looking for an experienced Product Designer who wants to make an impact for youth and community organizations.


 Job description:


 Come lead product design efforts at an exciting early stage, ed tech startup. You'll have a huge hand in building and shaping our design and product culture. You'll be instrumental in delivering best of class experiences and designs across consumer and enterprise applications being used across mobile and desktop environments, and you'll work closely with key stakeholders across Product and Engineering to create delightful experiences for the different types of users on our platform.


 These are some of the challenges you'll be involved in:


 Rich analytic dashboards: We need to tell the right stories with data for our enterprise clients to effectively manage and grow their programs. You'll ensure that each chart, graph, and table communicates clearly and is easily digestible to the end user.


 Simple and intuitive workflows: You'll help to identify existing usability issues and offer solutions that remove friction in common interactions.


 Clean interfaces: Declutter where necessary and ensure the user has exactly what they need to get their job done.


 Customer Research: You'll work closely with Product to know and understand our customer while prototyping and testing innovative design solutions


 Branding and style: You'll maintain and evolve our style guide while ensuring our brand is identifiable across our entire suite of products


 Skills requirements:


 4–6+ years of professional experience, ideally:


 2+ years of visual design experience


 2+ years of interaction design experience


 2+ years of information architecture experience


 -A portfolio of work that demonstrates user-centered design thinking, including example web and mobile applications


 -Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for web and mobile applications


 -Ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering to build and test solutions through the development process


 -Experience mocking, prototyping, and shipping your designs in an iterative development process


 -Solid communication. Be willing to give and take constructive feedback.
