Global management consultant in Berkeley is seeking to hire a world class part time Executive Assistant to support our CEO. The ideal candidate must be able to provide administrative support by performing a variety of tasks that require independent judgment, discretion, and confidentiality. This is a great opportunity for a professional EA who wants flexibility and independence or part-time work for "mom" with school age kids.
Responsibilities include:
* Detailed scheduling and calendar management
* Travel coordination for CEO
* Office administration
* Expense preparation assistance and "lite" QuickBooks entry
* File organization and maintenance
* Performing basic research
* Special ad-hoc projects which require strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel—an absolute MUST!
The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:
* Be an energetic self-starter and have a very positive can-do attitude
* Willingness to assume responsibility for projects and work independently
* Possess excellent phone skills and judgment
* Possess excellent attention to detail and organization skills
* Proactive and resourceful with the ability to think ahead and act independently
* Multi-tasking capabilities
* Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (a MUST)
* The judgment to appropriately prioritize duties during periods of high activity
* Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism
* Discretion with sensitive client and industry information
* Team contributor
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-year college degree preferred
* Superior understanding of all Microsoft Office programs (a MUST) and Quickbooks experience (WILL TRAIN)
* Two plus years of executive administrative support experience
* Must like big dogs and cats—they come to the office!
HOURS: 10-15 hours/week, but flexible during holidays/summers
Location: our home office; minimal telecommuting allowed
SALARY: commensurate with effectiveness
START DATE: Immediately
