The primary job duty for this position is to lead a group of PCB designers/drafters domestically and overseas. To accomplish this; the ideal candidate will collaborate in establishing design standards & configurations for our PCB boards. Work from preliminary schematics, parts lists & develop methodologies for our Corporate PCB design function.
A strong understanding of printed circuit design process with the ability to document, estimating timeliness and scheduling is a key job component.
AA degree CAD design or BS/BSET in EE is a plus. At least 10-15 years relevant experience and strong Cadence Allegro skills are a must because you will be doing design work.
Excellent written and verbal English skills and the ability to interface with team members & global users. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments. Also important is knowledge of fabrication and assembly trends and limitations in the industry. Knowledge of board testing is also key. Travel is required.
