POSITION DESCRIPTION (Req. 5018):
The senior supply chain analyst coordinates logistics activities with third party logistics providers, internal departments, forwarders and carriers. Also responsible for maintaining inventory control/accuracy, as well monitoring shipments and received goods in accordance with the procedures. The analyst will also be involved in analyzing data, determining root causes and driving corrective action. Will also participate in and lead teams involved with continuous and process design improvement.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support efforts through analysis and process improvement to meet inventory, cost and customer satisfaction goals
• Provide analytical support using Excel and/or Access
• Maintain supply chain metrics and determine root cause analysis
• Lead and/or participate in cross functional process and operation improvement opportunities
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy
• Review and correct discrepancies between ERP system and 3PL
• Co-ordinate with Warehouse personnel and Buyer/Planner on timely delivery and collection of goods
• Prepare shipping documents as needed
• Coordinate/handling and storage of Chemicals and DG goods per IATA and WSH compliance
•Maintain proper records of all shipping documents
•Responds to internal and external inquiries
•Complies with company quality management systems, policies and procedures
•Provides mentorship, if applicable
•Additional duties/responsibilities according to business needs
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor´s degree
5 - 7+ Yrs of related experience:

• Experienced professional with full comprehension of established principles, theories, concepts to resolve an extensive range of issues
