Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking a Channel Marketing Manager to support our client's Global Partner Marketing organization. In this role you will be responsible for managing and executing joint marketing programs with the partner to drive overall joint business objectives and to achieve significant business impact.

The candidate ideally has a minimum of 10 years proven experience, including a strong strategic marketing background, excellent communications skills, and ability to execute and demonstrate measurable results. Sales, solutions marketing and partnering experience is desired.

This highly visible position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex issues in a changing environment. The candidate must feel comfortable with executive-level interface and large team environments. Good collaboration skills are essential.

The position reports to the Manager of Global Systems Integrators Marketing.

This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide inputs in to the global strategic partner marketing strategy and plan for IBM
• Manage and execute key components of the marketing plan
• Align, collaborate, and build key relationships with the strategic partner team working with IBM to jointly execute marketing priorities and programs
• Collaborate with internal channel, region, and the broader marketing teams to execute the IBM marketing plan and develop "trusted advisor" relationship status
• Develop foundational marketing materials for the partnership
• Develop marketing strategy and plans to drive joint solution awareness, execution, and success, including go-to-market strategies
• Create compelling joint messaging and value propositions
• Execute plans of record focused on branding, campaign definition and execution, communications, events, and marketing plans of record
• Provide content within sales, marketing, and executive QBRs
• Develop and drive demand generation programs and outcomes leading to sales pipeline and bookings
• Keep abreast of market and technology trends, leveraging Client and other market intelligence, to develop marketing strategy and deliver high-impact marketing programs
• Develop annual and quarterly budgets to support the marketing strategy and plan while managing spending within quarterly allocations
• Leverage market intelligence and corporate-level campaigns and resources to tailor marketing planning and execution
• Develop internal and external communications plan and programs to drive awareness and demand for joint solutions and offers


Skill sets:
• Minimum of 10 years proven marketing experience working with strategic partners driving measurable results
• Knowledge of High Tech and IBM markets, products, solutions, technologies and organizations required
• Previous channels, sales, and partnering experience and knowledge
• Strong business, project management, and operational skills
• Strong written and oral communications and presentation skills
• Proven ability to develop, execute, and measure effective marketing demand generation programs and capabilities
• Ability to negotiate and influence at the senior executive level
• Market research and analysis, including competitive analysis
• Strong track record of delivering customer satisfaction and success
• Ability to develop high-impact marketing strategy and programs
• Basic knowledge of key industries and vertical markets and issues
• Ability to travel as required (10%)
• Ability to resolve conflicts and build consensus
• Ability to build and lead large, global virtual teams
• Branding, copyright, and creative/intellectual property contract knowledge
• Ability to identify, prioritize and deliver tangible results using sound business practices
• Ability to innovate and define new tools and practices and improved ways of achieving results
• Typically requires a BS/BA degree or equivalent and 10+ years marketing experience.
• MBA or advance degree is preferred
