Our Marketing Director will have:
• Expertise (10 + years) as an innovative and creative marketing/communication expert in consumer service/membership driven organizations.
• Leadership expertise but not fearful of rolling up your sleeves and dealing with the detailed tactical day-to-day parts of the role.
• Experience with creating and implementing high growth guerrilla marketing techniques.
• Proven expertise in providing innovative and creative approaches to marketing with bold ideas.
• Experience in SEO, SEM, and viral social media marketing.
• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or marketing preferred. Graduate degree desirable.
• Negotiating skills in media buys.
• Experience managing both in-house and external agencies in the design and production of print materials and publications.
• Well developed strategic thinking, analytical abilities with strong organizational and sales expertise.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Salesforce.com.
• Experience working in a start-up environment.
The Marketing Director role will:
• Develop and execute "best in class" long and short-term branding and marketing strategies.
• Refine and expand the Matches That Matter brand.
• Execute strategy into world-class advertising and communication campaigns.
• Implement operational plans and measure results.
• Manage and build Public Relations team to craft messaging that aligns with marketing strategies.
• Manage and build press communications.
• Provide editorial direction, design, production and distribution of the Company's publications.
• Conduct regular relevant market research.
• Purchase all media buys.
• Build channel marketing and strategic alliances.
