Solutions Office Interiors is a one-stop interior office solutions provider helping to define, design and implement perfect office environments in the Bay Area. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to help continue to grow our business. We cover all aspects of interior office projects from Design, Installation, Support, Project Management and Refurbishing.

We are seeking a results-oriented, energetic and business savvy individual in sales who understands quality customer service, takes the initiative, follows through and drives the sales needs of our company. Our ideal candidate is truly versatile and innovative at all things sales-related and has hands-on responsibility for all aspects of our sales efforts with support from the office staff. This position will be responsible for developing and managing a group of accounts.

We offer a friendly, comfortable atmosphere in a comfortable location in San Jose, an annual salary up to 50k (commensurate with experience), a generous commission plan and benefits. If you are an ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and abilities:


Job responsibilities:
- Research and manage leads, sales pipelines, contracts, and proposals
- Responsible for helping define the strategy for building relationships with strategic partners and execute that strategy based on clear milestones
- Identify & engage new clients, partners and key clients.
- Continued and ongoing management of the sales accounts, fostering ongoing relations with the company and ensuring clients are up to date about all new company benefits, policies, etc.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and all prospects and clients
- Responsible to manage all accounts and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manages the portfolio of a wide range of clients and drive profits through the effective and accurate management of client orders
- Oversee new accounts, re-activations and other issues related to business development
- Build long-term business partnerships
- Pursue a variety of avenues to continually drive new business opportunities to the company
- Conducting follow up outreach efforts to prospective clients persuading them engage with the company
- Participate in strategy meetings related to building the sales and marketing activities

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success and track record in sales and business development
- Strong pitching expertise and strategic positioning capability
- Aggressive, but non-threatening, demeanor in pursuing potential leads
- Motivated, self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple avenues and relationships
- Shows initiative, pro-activity, and ownership of projects
- Proven team player with exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills
- Excellent computer skills: MS Office required
- Excellent creative, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional Written and Verbal correspondence with customers and vendors at all times while maintaining proper business etiquette
- The ability to develop and execute a sales strategy based on clear milestones.
- Must be entrepreneurial and resourceful
- Special projects or duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.


The following sales activities are expected as part of the lead generation activities:

Telephone and Door to Door Cold Calls, Networking Events, In-person meeting with Point of Contact, Scheduling future meetings with Point of Contact, In-person meeting with relevant networking partner or Referral Source (i.e. Commercial Real Estate, Property Manager, Architect, Designer, etc.), Responding to �Request for Proposals�, Showroom visits by prospects, customers and power partners (architects, commercial realtors, etc.)
