[KITlist] CONTR: Employee On-boarding Program Manager (San Jose, CA)

Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a full time Employee On-Boarding Program Manager consultant for a six to nine month assignment. The Program Manager will play a key role as part of a team that drives employee on-boarding integration via management best practices and consulting methods. Looking for an individual with a broad marketing background including internal and external communications, direct marketing and lead generation, newsletters, presentations, writing, social media and small and large events.

The ideal consultant is an outgoing, high-impact professional with solid (and creative!) communication skills with prior Cisco experience (must have). This individual needs to be level-headed, consistently flawless and comfortable traveling for up to two weeks at a time.

Specific responsibilities include:

* Lead and manage on-boarding program

* Drive entire project lifecycle—definition, initiation, planning, execution, closure

* Define acceptance criteria, prioritize stakeholder requirements, and define scope/boundaries

* Implement management best practices and consulting methods to ensure the business is ready to deploy transformation efforts

* Manage overall program workflow

* Lead implementation of large-scale, cross-functionally interdependent program elements; manage integration, interdependencies and alignment of elements and/or tracks across functions

* Develop a comprehensive project delivery schedule that addresses financial, resource and material requirements

* Mitigate risk and minimize disruption during on-boarding project planning through adoption

* Develop, drive and execute associated track as well as strategic and tactical process and programs; requires an expert in program and project management

* Engage and provide guidance to all stakeholders

* Train and manage extended team regarding on-boarding process/workflow

* Manage and track project resource and deliverables budget

* Develop reporting and metrics for on-boarding program; provide monthly status updates

* Drive clients' transformational/change objectives to deliver project goals

* Manage all communications related to project; provide consistent progress updates via the project dashboard and/or internal/external status reports; update tracking systems and tools used to manage and update progress to goals, timeline and critical paths

* Manage and deliver training and event logistics in foreign locations

Skills:

* Prior Cisco experience (required)

* 11 - 15 years of experience as a senior marketing program manager; tradeshow/events experience highly desirable

* Proven track record as a high-level communicator and consummate problem solver. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills: written, verbal, presentation

* Ability to develop strategy as well as execute flawlessly

* Ability to positively influence diverse types of individuals

* Understanding of and experience with the creative process including proven ability to develop and deliver effective programs

* Can-do attitude; level-headed in all circumstances

* Flexibility, diplomatic, professional

* Bachelors' degree


Rate: $2,590 per week as a w2 employee of Crawford Group

Duration: 40 hours/week; 6-9 month assignement starting mid-June 2012

Location: Onsite at client offices in San Jose, CA; may require frequent travel—up to two weeks at a time. No phone calls, please.
