Cognos Developer

Camp Hill, PA

1 Year

$40/hr


REQUIRED SKILLS

• Worked on Cognos Business Intelligence Version 8.x including Report Studio and Transformer tools for at least 3+ years

• 3+ years experience in creating Reports (List/Crosstab/drill through/maps/dashboard), Framework manager models and transformer model/cubes

• 3+ years experience of understanding of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling concepts

• 3+ years experience in Oracle, SQL and database concepts

• Basic understanding of data model and ERWIN tool

• Aware of best practices and documentation


PREFERRED SKILLS:

1. Our client will be upgrading to Cognos 10.x in early 2013 so it would be nice if the person had familiarity with Cognos 10.x

2. We have started supporting some Business Objects work so it would be nice if we could find someone who has Business Objects experience.


Expected Deliverables - Cognos development.

ETL Developer

REQUIRED SKILLS: 3+ years of ETL Experience using Informatica - 3+ years of Data Warehousing Experience (experience in dimensional modeling, star schema and Snow flake schema) - Strong experience with Oracle (writing complex SQL queries against these databases) - Strong experience with Informatica tools such as Workflow manager, Repository manager, Designer, etc - Experience in Informatica administration - Strong analytic, problem solving, and collaborative skills; knowledge of standard system development lifecycle concepts - Knowledge of Cognos or SSRS reporting tools is a plus - Good communication skills
