The company offers products and services to one of the most high profile areas of focus of security in the world today that are sold to Fortune 500 companies and many others. The company is experiencing enormous growth and is now seeking a candidate with recent experience selling some form of security software or appliance offering in one of the areas of anti-virus, vulnerability, threat management, intrusion detection, information security, security information event management, application security etc. for this exciting opportunity:
Position title: Account Executive
Location: Southern California
Position responsibilities:
The qualified candidate will be part of a sales team responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue goals in support of the company's product and services strategy. The candidate should have experience developing opportunities from the initial lead phase to closure along with experience working with senior decision-makers in information security. The position requires travel throughout the geographic territory.
Required skills:
•Proven sales background in one of the areas of security software or appliance sales such as anti-virus, vulnerability, threat management, intrusion detection, information security, security information event management, application security, etc.
•Strong hunter mentality
•Established contacts in the information security field
•Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills with experience selling to C-level executives
•Ability to explain and demonstrate a complex software offering
•Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to excellence
•Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory as needed.
