Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com)is seeking a part-time Internal Communications Consultant (Metrics) for our technology client in Palo Alto, CA. The role requires previous experience measuring internal employee communication initiatives, preferably in a B2B enterprise. The focus of our clients' global communications team is on employee engagement. The Consultant's role is expected to last 12 months, enabling the Consultant to provide consistent learning and refinement to the metrics strategy over time. The main focus of this role is to bring an operational metrics contribution to the employee engagement initiative.
Specific Responsibilities:
Identify key metrics that demonstrate positive impact to the business
Highlight employee engagement behaviors that deliver value to the business (e.g. employee morale, company loyalty, buy-in to the vision, etc.)
Conduct ongoing reports to team(s)
Collect data from various internal sources, including Omniture and Campaign Monitor
Provide recommendations for refinement to the overall employee engagement content and delivery
Skills:
4 - 6 years of internal communications measurement experience; measuring employee engagement at an enterprise company of 2000 employees or more
Ability to deliver regular presentations on results: Mature verbal and written communications with demonstrated ability to communicate with manager and director level colleagues
An understanding of enterprise organizations and the employee behaviors that contribute to overall positive affinity for the company
Experience with internal communications delivery vehicles and how they work together to deliver an aggregate employee experience
Must be able to provide examples of previous internal communications initiative tracking
Familiarity with Omniture and Campaign Monitor strongly preferred
Bachelor���s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar
RATE: D.O.E; as W-2 employee of Crawford Group; benefits available
LOCATION: 100% virtual/offsite/remote; requires 1-2 monthly visits to client's offices in Palo Alto, CA. Please, no phone calls.
HOURS/DURATION: Part-time, 10 hours per week – October 13, 2014 through September 30, 2015.
