[KITlist] Customer Support / Inside Sales (Silicon Valley, CA)

The successful candidate will ensure delivery of excellent customer service through fast and accurate processing of orders, communication, and coordinating with other departments to resolve inquires. First point of customer contact for general inquiries like pricing, products, scheduling etc. Build and maintain business relationship with clients by providing prompt and accurate service so as to promote customer

loyalty.

Responsible for maintaining daily customer support and inside sales activities for their assigned territory. Assist assigned customers with basic product specification information. General quotation, order entry and purchase order verification.

Scope / Supervision:

Work with distributors, OEM and other sales personnel. Maintain open communication with Sales Management, Outside Sales and Technical Support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide timely quotations for CKD Product inquiries, while confirming product availability, part number accuracy and customer specific discounting.

• Verify and enter all incoming orders with previous quote history including price lead time and delivery schedule.

• Provide delivery control as required by customer using all available tools.

• Provide basic technical support to customers when possible. This can include product specification, repair part recommendations, part number verification/identification and other requests as needed.

• Communicate with CKD Overseas regarding product expedites, custom part verification, custom products and pricing.

• Present a positive self-image and make decisions based on company policies.

• Report new potential customers and sales leads to the appropriate salesman and manager.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years customer support/service experience or equivalent.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Basic computer knowledge in Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Great Plaines Dynamics experience a plus.

• Pneumatic, Fluid Power background preferred but not required.

• Fluid Power certification a plus.
