Director of MarCom
Riverside, CA
Our client is a thriving international manufacturer of integrated solutions and electronic components in Riverside county in southern California.
They are looking for a Director of MarCom to provide a broad range of communications and marketing support to the organization. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
This individual is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of organizational marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. In this role, the Director of MarCom oversees the development and implementation of support materials and services for the organization in the area of marketing, communications and public relations
Requires a bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations, business, communications, or a related field is required. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the electronics components manufacturing sector.
Ten or more years of experience in program development and marketing. Track record in project management with experience of balancing creative aspirations with limited financial and other resources, ability to work under pressure, handle sensitive issues and deliver to tight deadlines.
Experience in Marcom strategy development and execution, developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel.
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications. Ability to manage multiple projects at a time. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Compensation$132k - $140k plus typical benefits package.
