Sr Web Producer/Developer/Project Manager
Nimble Storage (NYSE: NMBL) is redefining the storage market with its innovative Adaptive Flash platform, a world-class management team, and a long list of awards from The Wall Street Journal, Gartner, InfoStor, TechTarget, and others. As the company's Web Producer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and management of the company's highest-profile marketing asset: nimblestorage.com.
The Web Producer will have accountability for developing an innovative and engaging user experience that clearly and consistently communicates the company's value proposition in alignment with the primary target audience and across the buyer's journey. Key elements of the global site must be optimized for engagement and conversion in alignment with aggressive lead generation and sales goals.
The Sr Web Producer/Developer/Project Manager will serve in a high-profile role and will have the opportunity for career advancement through a period of company growth and expansion.
Responsibilities:
Lead a comprehensive review and redesign of the company's global web site to create a compelling and engaging destination that drives awareness of the company's brand and messaging, and engages a wide range of visitors from customers and partners to industry influencers and prospective employees.
Prepare and maintain long-term plan for all public website development, including standards and best practices for content, usability, multi-language access, visual appeal, brand consistency, and user lifecycle, based on organizational goals and input from key stakeholders.
Work independently and with vendors to maintain websites using HTML, CSS, PHP, WordPress, and other content management platforms as appropriate.
Maintain website stability, uptime and performance. Partner with IT staff, web vendors and ISP to proactively address issues as they arise.
Optimize on-site content and structure for maximum usability and SEM/SEO rankings.
Provide hands-on technical support to corporate and field marketing staff to help execute website-based lead-gen campaigns, leveraging Marketo marketing automation platform and online assets like collateral, videos, and demos.
Leverage Google Analytics and Marketo to maintain website reporting and to provide actionable recommendations to drive awareness and leads.
Required skills and experience:
8-10 years of hands-on website development and management experience with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability.
Expert-level skill with HTML, PHP, CSS.
Expert-level skill with all standard HTML/PHP development applications.
Expert-level skill with WordPress, Drupal, and other content management systems.
A minimum of two years of hands-on experience with SEO implementation and vendor management.
At least two years of hands-on experience with Marketo, Eloqua, or other marketing automation platform.
Excellent attention to detail, both for website back-end and customer-facing content.
Self-motivated, hands on, and able to multi-task across a range of programs in a fast-paced dynamic environment. A collaborative individual with a passion for the web and a good sense of humor will thrive in this role.
Desired skills:
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
Hands-on experience with XML and Java.
