Job Summary
Employee Communications Design Manager
NetApp is seeking an experienced Communications Design Manager, preferably in employee communications to lead employee communications visual, digital and story development strategy, programs, and implementation. This is a hands-on job that blends both strategic and creative program and asset development for multiple digital channels. Strong understanding of successful communications strategies and implementation (visual and written storytelling) are "a must" for this role. Reporting to and working closely alongside the Head of Corporate Employee Communications you will be responsible for designing and implementing corporate communications programs and assets in a collaborative, team environment. We are looking for a confident self-starter with experience working with Executive leaders, influencing change, identifying and developing stories in new media formats, collaborating cross-functionally, designing, managing, and delivering exceptional creative.
Job Requirements
• Develop connected, strategic communications plan based on corporate priorities and messages.
• Elevate storytelling to employees by through digital short-form story development (written/visual).
• Own, manage and design employee communications experiences on multiple, mostly digital, platforms.
• Think strategically, produce results in a timely manner, be comfortable managing a high volume of projects and think globally and holistically about projects.
• Measure and analyze effectiveness of communications against annual goals.
• Operationalize your work for scale.
• Maintain high team satisfaction by providing proactive communication, regular status updates, and immediately up-leveling potential roadblocks related to resources and timelines.

Skills:
• 5-10 years plus proven experience with a blend of Marketing Communications, Digital Communications, Designer, Storyteller or similar position.
• Must meet minimum technical competencies
• Communications program strategy and planning
• Compelling visual and written storytelling; creative storyteller, including development, planning, writing, editing and implementation.
• Corporate messaging development.
• Strong project management capabilities
• Self-motivated, big picture thinker, with an ability to execute the hell out of a plan.
• Experience and ability to communicate consistently and clearly with high level executives.
• Experience working across various communication platforms.
• Ability to think outside the box to create new and innovative ways to communicate with employees that reflect the company culture.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Must be a team-oriented collaborator. Brainstorm, plan, act, measure, operationalize.
• Excellent problem identification and solving ability.
• Understanding of Cloud, Data Management, or IOT helpful
• Minimum Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience required.
