Kilowatt Marketing is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing Manager - Online Software to join our team to work onsite with our client, a leading financial software company, in Mountain View, CA.
The Product Marketing Manager will collaborate and partner with our client's marketing team to help drive key product and marketing initiatives, identify product needs and contribute to a dynamic product roadmap to address key product-market gaps.
Responsibilities
Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points and needs to impact product roadmap and to identify opportunities to produce breakthrough marketing.
Create the messaging strategy and positioning for new online financial product software. The output will be messaging strategy document leveraged throughout the organization.
Write well-articulated creative briefs and lead agencies and internal teams to drive creative and messaging briefs.
Make go-forward recommendations and present and share learning and recommendations across the organization.
Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners as well as outside agencies and partners.
Apply creative problem solving and analytics skills to provide ongoing insight into the business and make recommendations and decisions.
Lead research efforts to understand key customer segments and their personas.
Perform competitive analysis to understand the marketplace landscape and competitive advantages.
Qualifications
5-7 years brand management, product marketing and/or marketing experience (packaged goods or technology)
Experience creating and executing marketing plans and managing external advertising agencies and internal partners.
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
Strong creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and lead a team to deliver strong results.
