Stanford University Summer Session

Stanford Summer Session Program is seeking a temporary full-time Marketing Specialist for three months with the possibility of extension.

A summary of responsibilities of this position are:

• Under the guidance of senior management, the Marketing Specialist will implement the marketing initiatives currently laid out in the marketing plan, monitor student applications on the website, adjust marketing strategies accordingly, and may manage vendor relationships.

• Continue advertising initiatives including a mix of print collateral, print ads, digital ads, social media, and communications. Member of the Welcome Weekend planning committee: create all design aspects including directional signs, flyers, booklets, and pop-up banners.

• Manage advertising vendor relationships including but not limited to KQED, UCAS, Study Portal, Net Natives, Teen Life, Prospects, Stanford Daily and Stanford Magazine, to ensure marketing plans were carried out.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree + 2 years' experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Highly organized and creative.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.

• Demonstrated team player.

Channel Impact is seeking a tactical Marketing Operations Specialist who also grasps the "how behind the why" and the "why behind the how." This position requires being onsite in the San Jose area.

The ideal candidate has an analytical and problem-solving mindset, is a salesforce.com expert, and is extremely customer-experience focused. Must be able to see marketing through a customer lens to understand the journey; what motivates them, what would make them react and why.

This is a W2 position with Channel Impact.

Day-to-day marketing operations tasks include:

Lead uploads from various internal groups, maintaining lead management activities

Perform data dedupe activities

Be proactive and creative in identifying data gaps and issues, and suggest solutions

Manage data cleansing projects

Perform data cleansing and manage segmentation as needed

Support marketing automation tasks including the creation of segmentation rules, lists, imports and reports

Assist with Pardot and SFDC system and process support activities from lead generation to Opportunity Management

Working knowledge in SFDC reports, dashboards and data extracts

Troubleshoot marketing automation system / process issues and recommend solutions

Ensure accurate, timely execution of programs with a high level of responsiveness to internal stakeholders

Assist demand generation events in execution of email program, including; creating, forms and landing pages, email coding / scheduling emails, setting up A/B tests, QA and reporting

Serve as a liaison between marketing/demand generation team and IT

Qualifications include:

4+ years of work experience and 2+ of marketing operations experience is a MUST

Experience in developing reports/dashboards on demand generation performance - Salesforce dashboard experience is critical

Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities

Reliable in delivering results

Deep understanding of data flows and relations between Pardot and Salesforce

Deep knowledge of marketing automation systems, Pardot Knowledge is strongly recommended

Willing to work in a collaborative and results-oriented team environment

Self-driven, resourceful and process-oriented

Strong attention to detail is required

BA or BS in marketing preferred

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a rock-star coordinator who excels at managing lots of logistics to keep our campaigns and programs running smoothly, on time and on budget. You are a great project manager, know how to manage webinars and love all of the details involved in executing them well. Working closely with digital marketing, program management and almost every area of the Ciena marketing organization, you will also track the production status of all elements of our campaigns and programs as they move through workflows.

Specifically, you'll:

- Manage all areas of webinar development and execution, from planning to post-event followup

- Work with digital marketing team, program managers and subject matter experts to coordinate deadlines, deliverables and logistics for each webinar event

- Manage workflows, dry runs and tracking urls

- Moderate live webinars including monitoring Q&A sessions

- Manage logistics of post-event communications and promotion of on-demand webinars

- Generate and build comprehensive reports using On24 and Marketo platforms

- Maintain internal campaign portals to ensure content is updated for use by the marketing and sales organization

- Provide logistics and project management support to program managers on a variety of tactics as needed, including direct mail production and updating budget spreadsheets

- Manage project timelines for each campaign and program, tracking the timely development of each deliverable, monitoring communications and coordinating between stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

- BS/BA in marketing, advertising, communications or journalism

- 3-5 years experience in marketing or ad agency role requiring significant project management

- Excellent writing, interpersonal and verbal communication skills

- Extremely strong attention to detail

- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

- Strong project management and organizational skills required

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong track record of meeting tight deadlines and staying flexible in the face of change

- Experience working with cross-functional teams

- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

- Experience with webinar, marketing automation and content management platforms (On24, Marketo and Kapost preferred)

- Ability to understand data and metrics

Channel Impact is seeking an experienced, and ideally Certified Project Manager (CPM), to develop and manage project plans in support of our clients' launch of several programs. In addition to extensive project management experience, the ideal candidate must know Smartsheets, be extremely organized, and can confidently interface with all levels of leadership.

The right candidate must also be process-driven, have the ability to wear multiple hats, and can provide strategic input so the client can evaluate priorities, understand progress, issues and challenges, and know when to escalate.

This is a full-time W2 opportunity at Channel Impact and requires being onsite at the client in San Jose, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

Project manage the client's work streams with cross-functional teams

Work with the clients theater leaders to document, track and update their local launch plans

Conduct 1:1 interviews with key stakeholders from the client to develop the initial project plan, to track each of the functional work streams in SmartSheets

Continually track the project status including: ownership, delivery dates, budget, milestones, scope-creep, and risk

Use tools effectively to drive efficiency in operations

Identify and implement process improvements

Provide client with a weekly Executive Summary Report detailing the status of each work stream

Qualifications

5+ years of Project Management experience (certification is a ++)

Advanced/expert Smartsheets skills (certification is a +)

BA or BS (required)

Practical work experience with waterfall and agile development methodologies

Organized and detail-oriented, with a high level of integrity and reliability

Self-motivated, resourceful, takes initiative, incredibly organized and responsive

Proven track record for developing and documenting process improvements

Excellent collaboration and communication skills with proven ability to influence at all levels

Exceptional team player with the ability to develop and foster cross-functional relationships, willing to go the extra mile when needed

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

Outstanding written communications and also time management skills
