Responsibilities:

The SharePoint Senior Developer will be responsible for design and development of software solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint, JQuery, WCF, REST Data Services and .Net Framework.

Major responsibilities include:

Understanding client requirements by participating in workshops and regular client meetings.
Assess Technical Feasibility and prepare SharePoint 2013 Out-Of-Box features vs. Custom Development matrix.
Scoping and estimation of work effort for each project.
Create Technical Design, and Implementation Plan for the SharePoint solutions.
Work with other technical resources on the Solution build.
Participate in Quality Assurance (UAT) process and resolve issues as they arise.
Support development of Microsoft SharePoint 2013, JQuery, and .NET framework based business applications.

Skills / Experience required:

8+ years experience in Design and Development of web applications based on Microsoft SharePoint, JQuery, JavaScript, REST Data Services, WCF, Search and Business Connectivity Services (BCS). 1+ years experience in Design and development of solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint 2013 is mandatory.
Strong SharePoint Designer 2013 skills (especially creating External Content Types)
Strong JQuery knowledge with .NET programming skills.
SharePoint 2013 Object Model Programming (ability to write custom event handlers, create lists / content types / alerts via code, create features, understand SharePoint Client Object Model etc.) and REST API.
Strong responsive design experience with SharePoint master pages and pages layouts - branding SharePoint sites.
Customize workflow task and process behaviours through the use of standard SharePoint 2013 workflows.
Strong ability to create custom SharePoint 2013 workflows using Visual studio.
Strong SQL code development experience (database design, stored procedures, triggers etc.)
Experience designing and developing solutions on Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services)
Good understanding of software design patterns (Singleton, Factory Method, and Builder etc.)
Strong knowledge in UML (sequence, class, component, activity and deployment diagrams)
Conduct requirements gathering sessions with working groups and individuals to capture business requirements for site changes and new requests
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with excellent verbal and written skills

Preferred

The applicant must have experience in development of large and complex SharePoint applications. The applications must be similar in size and scope to the types of application development designed by a large government entity such as the New York City Department of Education.
Experience with OpenXML
Business Knowledge - Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills using knowledge, experience and understanding of Public sector in the United States
Microsoft MVP Certification and Microsoft Certified Solution Developers (MCSDs) will be a MAJOR plus.
Experience with data integration with external systems is a MAJOR plus
Experience with SharePoint content migration with Metalogix content matrix is desirable.
Experience with performance point services, Power View/PowerPivot is desirable
Experience with Angular.js in SharePoint is a plus.

Description and Responsibilities:

DCG Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Optical Design Engineer who will primarily focus on the design and development of a range of optical sub-systems, lenses, and opto- mechanical elements pertaining to high-end semiconductor inspection systems. You will work closely with the product development team, marketing manager, and the research group. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated technical person with a passion for hands on work. This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Derive, analyze and optimize complex optical systems (primarily IR microscopy subsystems: objectives, illuminators, relay lenses, etc) at the conceptual and detailed design level.
  • Document technical results and present to the larger technical team in both formal and informal environments.
  • Create and maintain system design documentation during the transfer to contract manufacturers.
  • Managing contract manufacturers through the entire fabrication process-finalizing the design, developing the validation protocols, manufacturing and verifying the systems.
  • Plan and execute experiments to solve technical problems.
  • Responsible for complex optical lens design for DCG optical systems.

Preferred:

  • Good understanding and experience with lens design using Zemax, Code V or OSLO software.
  • Expertise specifying optical and opto-electronics components and familiarity with vendors and manufacturers of the same.
  • Expertise in design of illumination schemes for 2D detectors.
  • Excellent physics-based design and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent hands-on lab skills in characterization and problem-solving.
  • Experience opto-mechanical design integration including mechanical tolerancing.
  • Experience with lasers and lasers scanning mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Failure Analysis and Yield Process in the semiconductor field.
  • Previous experience at a semiconductor capital equipment company or at a supplier to a semiconductor capital equipment company.
  • Previous experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE).

Performance Skills

  • Excellent technical communication skills- both oral and written.

  • Ability to exercise reasonable judgment independently.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Physics with a proven background in optical design from an accredited university required.
