Role: Partner Program Project Manager


Location: Santa Cruz, CA


Time Commitment: Jan-June 2018, Full-Time


Position Overview: 


Channel Impact is seeking an experienced, and ideally Certified Project Manager (CPM), to develop and manage a project plan in support of the launch of several Global Partner Programs. Our client is launching multiple global programs (Incentives, MDF, Rewards, etc) simultaneously, and needs us to provide Project Management support. Our goal, is to give her clear line of site in to all of her programs, at any given time.


The ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience in the partner space, is very organized, and is experienced interfacing daily with channel leadership. Additionally, the ideal candidate must be process driven, have the ability to wear multiple hats, and to provide strategic input so the client can evaluate priorities, understand progress, issues and challenges and know when to escalate.


This role requires being on-site at the client, 2-3 days per week. Also, you must be willing to occasionally take early morning calls with our European counterparts.




This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact. 




Primary Responsibilities:


Develop and implement a methodology to project manage the client's work streams


Conduct 1:1 interviews with key stakeholders from the client to develop the initial project plan, to track each of the functional work streams (Excel, SmartSheets, or other project management tool


Continually track the project status including: ownership, delivery dates, budget, milestones, scope-creep, and risk


Provide client with a weekly Executive Summary Report detailing the status of each work stream


Work with the clients theater leaders to document, track and update their local launch plans


Collaborate with the clients communication team to prepare a regular communication package to update global leadership on the status of each project.


Qualifications:


5+ years of Project Management experience (certification is a ++)


5+ year of partner related experience


BA or BS (required)


Expert organizational skills, very detail-oriented


Self-motivated, resourceful, takes initiative, incredibly organized and responsive


Outstanding written and verbal communication skills


Team player, willing to go the extra mile when needed


Ability to function well in a fast paced environment


Excellent time management skills


Consistent follow-through on projects, does not get easily frazzled


Customer service, super positive, "can-do" attitude
