- Temporary Marketing Specialist
Stanford University Summer Session
Stanford Summer Session Program is seeking a temporary full-time Marketing Specialist for three months with the possibility of extension.
A summary of responsibilities of this position are:
• Under the guidance of senior management, the Marketing Specialist will implement the marketing initiatives currently laid out in the marketing plan, monitor student applications on the website, adjust marketing strategies accordingly, and may manage vendor relationships.
• Continue advertising initiatives including a mix of print collateral, print ads, digital ads, social media, and communications. Member of the Welcome Weekend planning committee: create all design aspects including directional signs, flyers, booklets, and pop-up banners.
• Manage advertising vendor relationships including but not limited to KQED, UCAS, Study Portal, Net Natives, Teen Life, Prospects, Stanford Daily and Stanford Magazine, to ensure marketing plans were carried out.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree + 2 years' experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and creative.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules.
• Demonstrated team player.
