Channel Impact is seeking a tactical Marketing Operations Specialist who also grasps the "how behind the why" and the "why behind the how." This is a contract-to-hire position supporting our client onsite in the San Jose area.
The ideal candidate has an analytical and problem-solving mindset, is an salesforce.com expert, and is extremely customer-experience focused. Must be able to see marketing through a customer lens to understand the journey; what motivates them, what would make them react and why.
This is a three-month W2 position with Channel Impact, with the possibility of becoming full-time with either Channel Impact or the client.
Day-to-day marketing operations tasks include:
Lead uploads from various internal groups, maintaining lead management activities
Perform data dedupe activities
Be proactive and creative in identifying data gaps and issues, and suggest solutions
Manage data cleansing projects
Perform data cleansing and manage segmentation as needed
Support marketing automation tasks including the creation of segmentation rules, lists, imports and reports
Assist with Pardot and SFDC system and process support activities from lead generation to Opportunity Management
Working knowledge in SFDC reports, dashboards and data extracts
Troubleshoot marketing automation system / process issues and recommend solutions
Ensure accurate, timely execution of programs with a high level of responsiveness to internal stakeholders
Assist demand generation events in execution of email program, including; creating, forms and landing pages, email coding / scheduling emails, setting up A/B tests, QA and reporting
Serve as a liaison between marketing/demand generation team and IT
Qualifications include:
4+ years of work experience and 2+ of marketing operations experience is a MUST
Experience in developing reports/dashboards on demand generation performance - Salesforce dashboard experience is critical
Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Reliable in delivering results
Deep understanding of data flows and relations between Pardot and Salesforce
Deep knowledge of marketing automation systems, Pardot Knowledge is strongly recommended
Willing to work in a collaborative and results-oriented team environment
Self-driven, resourceful and process-oriented
Strong attention to detail is required
BA or BS in marketing preferred
