I am helping my client identify a strong Account Manager to join their team in the San Francisco office. As a counsel and advisor to some of the agency's top clients, we are seeking someone with experience in Consumer and Consumer Tech, especially focused on media relations and financial services account experience. This role will require delivering executive-level PR strategies, corporate and brand narratives, and help teams secure top-tier press. As a counsel and advisor to one of the agency's top clients, we are seeking someone with experience working with large Consumer/Consumer Tech brands. Payments/fintech/big brand experience is a plus. This is a terrific role for someone who may not have wanted an agency role because 80% of your time will be on one particular account. You will actually be working in house a few days a week as they are also in SF.
Responsibilities include:
• Writes comprehensive client and new business plan drafts
• Effectively participates in new business presentations and takes an active role in developing new business for his/her respective division or practice area
• Communicates "big picture" logistics and tactics to team
• Denes and adjusts strategies appropriately
• Provides direct client counsel and is seen as a strategist by the client
• Leads client meetings and presentations on his/her own
• Provides framework for tracking and measuring client results; markets back to clients
• Works alongside Director to monitor account portability
• Provides fundamental management of SAEs and AEs
• Actively builds rm visibility through association memberships and networking opportunities
Qualifications:
• BA or BS in related eld required
• Requires 5+ years of public relations, consumer and tech experience preferred
• Thinks strategically with strong writing and presentation skills
