Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Event Manager to work side-by-side with our high-tech client helping to execute C-level partner events. The ideal candidate is a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) with excellent program and event management skills.

This is a full-time W2 opportunity with Channel Impact that requires being in Palo Alto.

Responsibilities:

End-to-end event program management services

Send RFPs to hotels/venues, review proposals and negotiate contracts

Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholder to set up and manage the event registration process

Assist with session development including speaker invitations and tracking, session selection, and collecting presentation materials

Work directly with vendors and partners on room set up, AV, WiFi order, and food and beverage needs for all events.

Manage all event logistics (ie. give aways, collateral, shipping, etc)

Support event marketing through website, emails, marketing design, and social media

Market and reach out to potential exhibitors, sponsors, and collaborators

Organize and lead internal event planning meetings

Track exhibitor and sponsor information

Help coordinate special events (dinners, cocktail hours, golf...) including making reservations, coordinating travel, and collecting RSVPs

Work with vendors on exhibit design and installation

Develop and maintain a project plan for each event you are managing

Update and maintain conference budgets

Develop and publish a Know Before You Go document for each event

Lead on-going stakeholder meetings for each event

Mange post event communications

Execute and analyze conference evaluations and make suggestions for meeting improvements

Assist in other marketing related activities as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years experience in meeting or event planning

Meeting planning certification(CMP) a strong plus

Excellent organization and project management skills

Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail, and strong follow-through

Self-starter with demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Ability to work well alone and collaborate effectively and professionally with others

Experience staying on task and working under deadlines

Strong process orientation with priority for quality

Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and partners

Channel Impact is seeking an experienced Partner Incentive Fund Program Manager to join our team of channel careerists. This role consists of two main areas of responsibility. The first is to be part of a global team charted to transform the partner experience as it relates to Incentive Funds. The second is to manage the Joint Marketing Fund Program for the Americas.

What you will be doing:

Transformation -

Develop the client's North America partner funds strategy focused on increasing simplicity through continuing to evolve the partner experience and providing metrics on the effectiveness and ROI on fund programs in one holistic view for the U.S. and Canada

Meet regularly with internal client stakeholders to discuss program changes, compliance items, enhancements, roadmap, best practices, etc.

Engage other contra program teams in region to align partner funds strategy and create the best partner experience

Manage external vendor platform enhancements from partners and partner marketing managers for global team for consideration

Collaborate with Europe and Asia Pacific program managers to share and learn best practices

Develop a universal partner funds dashboard for field marketing to review and monitor partners allocated investments from all contra programs

Deliver quarterly business reviews on Americas partner fund programs

JMF Program Management -

Lead & manage JMF program for Canada, United States & Latin America; liaise with theater partner marketing country leads and finance teams

Hold bi-weekly meetings with each country partner marketing lead to review program status

Align JMF to the client's business priorities and evolving and enhancing the programs value

Align to the client's partner marketing leadership to determine annual program goals (fund allocation, partner coverage, traditional versus digital and etc.)

Program Communication & Enablement

Partner & Internal Training – work cross-functionally with suppliers and other resources to create and delivery all necessary enablement

Develop JMF communication strategy alongside program operations manager

Provide reporting & analysis

Represent the client in QBRs and distill outcomes & follow-ups back into the region and the partner theatre leads (CA, US, LATAM)

Provide/collaborate on quarterly reporting regarding budget, metrics and ROI and deliver comprehensive QBR to the client's leadership

You're a great fit if you have:

5-7+ years of experience managing a global partner incentive fund program in a high-tech environment

Solid understanding of the policy considerations as it relates to the use of joint marketing funds

5+ years of experience in a global environment

Solid analytical skills

Microsoft Excel & SmartSheet

Ability to effectively work across organizations to solicit input and establish consensus

Project management skills required

BA or BS degree required

Chanel Impact has an immediate opening for an experienced Senior Project/Product Manager to work side-by-side with our startup client on their new software and application development, to project manage the launch. The right candidate is process-driven, has the ability to wear multiple hats, and can successfully lead a cross-functional team to develop and improve a product, while directing its strategy, roadmap and features with the leadership.

This is a 3-month project role at Channel Impact with the possibility for extension. The ideal candidate will be located in the San Jose/South Bay Area to work at the client's office as needed.

Responsibilities:

Understand the strategy/product roadmap to successfully lead the development team to deliver the end product

Determine the defining and prioritizing features of the product and drive bug fixes based on those priories

Define what the product team delivers and when, creating a project timeline and schedule for implementation

Provide client with a weekly Executive Summary Report detailing the status of each work stream

Qualifications:

8+ years proven product life cycle experience, developing and project managing the launch of new products/software applications

Experience Project Manager (certification a plus)

Drive programs aligned to strategic initiatives by influencing others, setting clear team deliverables, project managing cross-functional teams, and executing to drive results.

Lead product launches of major releases by partnering closely with cross-functional teams.

Analyze data and present the information in a meaningful way to drive data-driven decisions. Types of analysis includes market analysis, pipeline analysis, customer usage analysis, and more.

Support key events as a presenter and content owner.

Additional description

Sales enablement: identify product-specific sales blockers and build out materials that address Enterprise/Corp sales needs

Launch support: Develop messaging, positioning, sales materials and end user education materials in support of Tier 1 and Tier 2 launches

Product adoption: Develop and execute a plan to drive adoption of "hero" products within the G Suite portfolio that lead to deeper engagement and long term retention

Desired Skills & Experience:

7+ years of enterprise software product or solutions marketing experience. Experience in Google Suite of products and Cloud software experience is highly desirable.

Proven ability to execute cross-functional programs by collaboratively working with product management, sales, marketing and customer success teams to drive timely execution and results.

Proven ability to understand technical and complex concepts and map them to customer's benefits. Package the messages into easy-to-consume formats that can be used by sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

Strong communication and business writing skills. Personal experience creating high quality sales and customer-facing content including presentations, web copy, datasheets as well as guiding others to create content.

Track record of presenting to different internal and external audiences, including senior executives.

Track record of creating customer and prospect facing webinar content and presenting in a webinar.

Strong project management skills with the ability to breakdown ambiguous tasks into concrete deliverables and influence others to drive projects to completion.

Proven track record of leading successful product launches.

Strategic thinker, creative problem solver and strong analytical skills with a strong bias towards action. Ability to assess a situation, quickly evaluate the pros and cons, and make decisions.

The City of San Jose's Department of Public Works (PW) is seeking an Encore Fellow with HR and change management experience as they develop an employee development and training program for the staff involved in the delivery of the City's capital/construction projects. Traditionally, employee training has been handled through knowledge transfer from supervisor to employee and peer-to-peer. In preparation for a more formal program, they need someone to interview staff and understand the impact of change and develop plans and processes to prepare for the change while working with the training team. Moving forward, the department is committed to establishing a more centralized training team and sees the Encore Fellow as the ideal person to bridge the gap between now and when this training team can ultimately be established.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the company

• Oversee RMS web properties including website design, systems/tools, user experience and execution roadmaps

• Ensure alignment of our digital initiatives with business priorities and OKRs

• Define and execute SEO/M analysis, keyword plans, and reporting/optimization

• Develop, plan and execute paid digital marketing initiatives including paid social media, search and display advertising

• Work with global marketing team on a global content calendar for RMS web properties, aligned to key focus periods

• Partner with the Creative team to deploy consistent, engaging brand experiences throughout all RMS web properties and digital initiatives

• Partner with Sales and Field Marketing to support their lead reporting and analytics requirements

• Manage all marketing activity tracking for attribution and ROI reporting

• Identify and partner with IT, global vendors and agencies to support the team's initiatives

• Continually refine website operations and processes to increase productivity and effectiveness

• Localize web and digital content to support RMS's global business

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience developing and successfully executing websites and digital marketing strategies

• Proven experience as a Digital Marketing leader in a technology company

• Leadership experience communicating and collaborating with a diverse global marketing team and business executives in a variety of organizations and functions

• Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate diplomatically and professionally with a wide variety of constituencies

• Ability to juggle competing, time-sensitive priorities

• Proven track record of delivering successful digital experiences with a strong underpinning of operational excellence

• Demonstrable experience in designing and implementing successful digital marketing initiatives, on time, on budget

• Solid knowledge of online marketing and project/asset management tools and best practices

• Hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics and CRM software

• Strong analytical, project management and communication (written and verbal) skills

• Familiarity with and understanding of web design and production best practices

• Ability to work with off-shore development resources, occasionally during off-hours

- Encore Fellowships provide a means for seasoned professionals, typically 50+, to transition to social impact sector work through paid projects in non profits and governments. We have a major city in Silicon Valley seeking a person fluent in Vietnamese (speaking, writing, reading) to develop a fundraising strategy from a development feasibility study to honor the Vietnamese American culture and heritage, establish a campaign and committee, and seek out major donors. The person must have fundraising and development skills as well as ability to communicate to the Vietnamese-American community
