Channel Impact is hiring a Field Marketing Manager to cover the Midwest Region of the US. In this role, you will be working side-by-side with our client to develop and deliver an area-marketing plan that results in increased revenue. The ideal candidate is a marketing expert that has a positive attitude, collaborative skill set, and enjoys interfacing daily with the sales organization.
This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
What you'll be doing:
-Ensuring deep knowledge of the sales team target customer base and routes to market; act as partner to sales leadership on customer route to market strategies
-Building relationships with sales leadership that are critical to achieving success with regions marketing planning and execution
-Using market data, define overall marketing strategy on annual basis
-Utilizing existing demand generation programs to drive business within the region
Collaborating with marketing stakeholder to optimize your marketing resources
-Managing your share of outside resource to support tactical, logistical, event, communications or other marketing support needs (ie. event marketing)
-Creating unique marketing programs where urgent market needs are not covered by US or global programs
-Gathering and present accurate and concise metrics regarding marketing activity and impact, at minimum on a quarterly basis as part of a QBR process to key stakeholders
-Overseeing/participating in operation-level communications, including commit calls, marketing newsletters, key overview presentations and more
-Educating sales, channels and partners about marketing opportunities, best practices and techniques
-Acting as marketing resource to sales, channels and our partners re: joint marketing with partners
You're a Great Fit if you have:
-5-10 years of field and/or channel marketing experience, preferably in high tech … vertical marketing expertise also valued
-Experience creating, driving, measuring and evolving a comprehensive marketing strategy
-Marketing analytics experience and metrics-driven mindset
-Expertise at building and expanding internal and external relationships
-A mindset for innovation and creativity
-Demonstrated and current knowledge of high-tech, B2B marketing best practices
-Exceptional organization skills to ensure multiple strategies, programs and activities are executing as planned
-Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed organization
-Budget management experience
-A super collaborative and positive attitude in a fast paced and dynamic environment
-A passion for working with the Sales Organization
