About the position: 


We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who is ready to make a substantial impact with Cumulus Networks as they disrupt and transform the future of the networking industry. Cumulus Networks has an amazing product, a stellar leadership team, rich customer base, and the financial backing of Andreessen Horowitz, Battery Ventures and Sequoia Capital. 




About The Position:


The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating compelling narratives that communicate the unique value of our products as well as the important role they play in rapidly evolving data center solutions ecosystem (open stack, containers, sonic, SAI, etc.). The ideal candidate will blend strategic thinking with tactical execution and be hands on creating content, messages and programs targeted at key personas. This role will include sales enablement, competitive positioning, and will work collaboratively across marketing, sales, alliances and product development. 




About the responsibilities:


• Develop and execute high impact marketing plans and campaigns to support product launches and ongoing awareness


• Understand market trends and competitive landscape in the networking landscape


• Extract key capabilities, differentiators, benefits and use cases for target customer segments


• Create content, assets, and tools including sales presentations, ROI tools, whitepapers, blogs, competitive briefs and other materials


• Be a spokesperson for the company at key industry events and in interviews with thought leaders 




About You:


• Smart, creative, collaborative, results focused, and technically curious


• 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience in networking or related infrastructure space. 


• Bachelor's Degree required. MBA from a top-tier school is a plus. 


• Excellent communication skills with strong ability to both hear and influence people at all levels and in various functions.


• Experience developing and validating positioning, category creation, messaging, and competitive segmentation.


• High energy individual with strong writing skills and the potential to influence change.


• Detail oriented and analytical in nature with a self-starter work ethic.
