Position Overview:
Channel Impact is seeking a detail-oriented and budget-minded Business Operations Manager to support our high tech client. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, communications, buyers, and finance. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, process driven, data focused, and a fast learner.
This is a W2 opportunity at Channel Impact to work remotely and includes benefits.
What youll be doing:
• Work with leads and team members on their quarterly allocated budget - budget/spend fluctuates daily
• Recognize gaps (over/under) and effectively communicate planned vs executed spend (excel budget tracker) to ensure overall budget is executed at 100%
• Ensure SOWs are compliant and details are aligned so that the PO turnaround is quick as possible
• Execute interdepartmental charges
• Research and resolve invoice issues
• Assist in onboarding new suppliers with enrollment team, tax team, vendorsetup team across multiple regions
• Train users on tools and processes within the department
• Effectively communicate quarterly deadlines and operations or process changes
• Reporting – create Reconciliation reports, Virtual Close reports, Accrual reports, Quarterly Business Review reports
Required Skills:
• Excel - develop pivot tables/charts, vlookups, formatting knowledge with the ability to quickly manipulate data (in a meeting) and interpret
• PowerPoint and Smartsheets
• Ability to ramp up quickly with internal processes & tools
• Must be able to multi-task, stay flexible and remain patient in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Excellent communication and relationship building - must be able to speak to all levels internally & externally on reporting, budgeting, invoicing, on-boarding, and more
• Thrives working cross-functionally with multiple teams across an organization on a daily basis, including those outside of the U.S
• Proven ability to stay organized – many adhoc calls and meetings
• Strong business acumen
• Have an eye for developing more efficient ways to complete a task or process that benefits stakeholders
• BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 5+ years related experience
