Freshworks provides organizations of all sizes with SaaS customer engagement solutions that make it easy for support, sales and marketing professionals to communicate effectively with customers for better service and collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues. The companys products include Freshdesk, Freshservice, Freshsales, Freshcaller, Freshteam, Freshchat, and Freshmarketer.

Freshworks is looking for a forward thinking, data-driven and passionate Field Marketing Director to join our North America Marketing team. The role reports directly to the VP of North American Sales and matrix into the Global VP of Growth & Marketing. This person will support growth, revenue generation and brand awareness in the U.S. market by developing, managing and tracking demand generation programs and campaigns to drive and nurture leads and accelerate opportunities to close. This position will collaborate closely with Freshworks Sales and Sales Development teams to plan and execute marketing programs.

Responsibilities:

Develop Freshworks regional marketing strategy and manage the execution of various marketing activities

Work with local Regional Marketing and Sales Leadership to plan, execute and track quarterly marketing plans to meet and/or exceed quarterly pipeline and revenue targets

Drive and execute account-based marketing campaigns in an effort to penetrate and expand in the Mid-Market and Enterprise target accounts

Execute customer marketing initiatives aimed expanding current Freshworks customer accounts.

Plan and execute executive-level thought leadership campaigns & Freshworks hosted events

Be the point of contact for all Marketing programs between the US office and the central teams based in Chennai, India

Plan and execute 3rd party events and tradeshow sponsorships with end to end plan & follow-up, measurement and ROI

Manage to a quarterly territory budget

Be a strong, inspiring mentor to the junior members of our marketing team

Work directly with customers, partners and the extended customer service and support community

Utilize systems and tools such as Freshsales to analyze pipeline and opportunity data to best determine marketing mix

Qualifications Required:

10+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a B2B setting. SaaS experience is a big plus

Entrepreneurial, driven personality who is not only highly analytical and strategic but also creative and hands-on in execution

Manage numerous projects simultaneously, in a dynamic environment

Motivated self-starter who thrives in complex fast-paced quota driven environments

Experience with developing, executing and tracking results tied to integrated, multi-touch marketing plans

Data driven and familiar with Full Funnel Marketing metrics (Leads, Conversion, Pipeline, Revenue)

Proficiency in basic Office, Freshsales CRM and Marketing Automation & Analytics tools

Decisive, agile, and iterative; easily able to shift gears between thinking and doing.

Ability to inspire cross-functional teams to work with you and feel great about their contribution

Strategic thinking and ability to develop complex programs from inception

Team player, strong collaborator and internal communicator

Experience and comfort working in a multicultural environment is a plus

Excellent oral and written communication skills are critical to this role

Bachelors degree preferred.
