Vertical Solutions Marketing Manager – Storage (Sunnyvale, CA)


 We are looking for a Vertical Solutions Marketing Manager for a large storage and data management firm. The Solutions Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing go to market (GTM) strategy and marketing content for vertical solutions (financial services, manufacturing – automotive and high tech, healthcare, M&E, energy). Primary content to be developed are presentations and solutions briefs. Content will support demand generation and sales efforts.


 This is a 32 hours per week; 3 month contract (extensions possible) role in Sunnyvale, CA. W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions' employee, health benefits offered.


 Responsibilities:


 • Understand vertical solutions, target customer needs, and competitive landscape


 • Develop vertical specific value propositions and GTM strategies


 • Understand demand gen campaigns and recommend tactics


 • Create and write solutions briefs 


 Requirements:


 • 5+ years experience as a Solutions/Product Marketing Manager, developing marketing materials and sales enablement tools. 


 • Strong background in enterprise storage is required, big data is preferred


 • Intimate knowledge of targeted verticals


 • Strong writing and content creation skills.


 • Capable of working independently as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams.


 • Ability to function in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.


 • BS degree in a technical field, MBA preferred

Netchannels is looking to hire a contractor for our client Polycom to perform Video Editing. This is an on-going role, 30-40hrs per week, onsite at the Polycom in Sunnyvale. The pay rate is $35/hr


TITLE: VIDEO EDITOR




DEFINITION


Under general direction, provides video editing assistance and expertise. May also include supporting pre-production, production, and post-production functions and performing other production related duties as necessary to deliver finished video assets.




DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Core Responsibilities:


Editing, as well as basic color balancing and sound mixing in Adobe Premiere and Creative Suite


Assist video production manager with shoots in studio


Assist with pre-production budgeting, scheduling, and crewing shoots






MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS




Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in either Film/Video, Communications, or similar media driven majors


At least 3 years' experience in professional video production environments, demonstrating competence in all areas of video production.


Proficient in Non-Linear Editing software (specifically Adobe Premiere) and experienced in creating Motion Graphics, greenscreen/chroma-keying, and other visual FX utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (bonus points for Cinema4D or other 3D software)


Knowledge of professional video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology


Excellent written and verbal communication skills




BONUS SKILLS (if ya got em! Not Required)




Knowledge of Video Compression codecs


On-set experience conducting field and studio based video production, which involves interacting with clients and assisting in the set up and use of professional video and audio equipment CatDV/Asset Management

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to support social engagement efforts at a large company in Santa Cruz, CA. As the Social Media Specialist supporting the Gaming Consumer Products team, this role is responsible for developing and implementing strategic social marketing programs on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Responsibilities

• Partner with Digital Marketing/Events team and regional marketing stakeholders to drive and support key initiatives


• Develop and schedule social and influencer content plans surrounding events, tradeshows and executive speaking sessions


• Measure social media metrics and impact – drive improvements to the social media efforts

Requirements 


• 1-2 years in a social marketing role, at a B2C company

• Hands-on experience programming social media content on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram


• Travel- 10-15% of the time to US events, such as E3, GamesCom, etc.

 We are looking for a dynamic leader to plan, develop and implement modern public relations and influencer programs that will build the company's brand and position it as a visionary leader within the online eyewear market.  Primary Responsibilities:

 • Identify key metrics, set goals, and provide regular reporting on all activities and their results.


 • Develop crisis communication plans to address potential business, product, regulatory issues that may arise in the normal course of business.


 • Be a company spokesperson providing interviews to key journalists and influencers when appropriate as well as managing the process to identify and train other employees to do the same. 



 Qualifications/Requirements:


 • 10+ years' marketing, public relations, and communications experience within an e-Commerce or technology company with focus in fast moving consumer goods. 


 • Proven track record in the design and execution of public relations and communications activities including press releases, presentations and media outreach. 


 • Experience overseeing the creation of social media content as well as content and editorial calendars. 


 • Experience managing PR agencies and placing content in a variety of media outlets with successful results


 • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations and/or Communications. Graduate degree in a related field desirable.


 • Strong leadership experience and competencies including staff management, coaching/development, performance management and change leadership.


 • Superior written and verbal communication skills 


 • Effective budget development and management skills and experience.


 • Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS platform; SEO, Google Analytics or other Web analytics.

Responsibilities

Design, global compensation philosophy and strategy

Develop job family, and compensation structure
