Are you ready to create the next technology management category? The Solution Marketing Owner is a key member of the marketing team responsible for advancing the representation of Blue Medora's product portfolio and its advocacy.
Responsibilities
• Create the "connective-tissue" messaging and materials to best position product and features with emerging trends and corporate strategy
• Work closely with customers, Sales and Product Management to understand the needs of the IT infrastructure and application performance monitoring marketplaces; help to formulate future Product Marketing strategies and tactics
• Author differentiated and opinionated content including contributed articles, blog posts, presentations, competitive tools and training for sales
• Provide subject matter evangelism and support to marketing communications in the form of media interviews, briefings and conference presentations
• Own market-facing aspects of product launch/release planning and delivery, including collateral, communications and sales readiness
• Continuously assess competitive posture, industry trends and market opportunity
• Assist global marketing teams and channel partners with go-to-market activities and marketing assets. Orchestrate resources from Sales, Product Management, Communications, and Demand Generation to fulfill content, campaign, enablement and influencer program needs
• Attend relevant industry trade-shows, sponsorship, analyst briefings and customer meetings; actively participate in social media
• Drive customer testimonials and case studies
• Some travel required
Desired Skills and Experience
• Deep knowledge of the technology industry and IT management space; fluency with the technologies layering modern IT app and infrastructure stacks and the DevOps approach to service and application delivery
• Independently minded, entrepreneurial marketer who understands how to capture awareness and advantage for the product line, as well as the brand
• Deftly translates complex concepts into easily accessible and credible messages
• Superb writing skills and storytelling ability
• Proficiency in marketing techniques and components with track record of outbound content creation
• Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA preferred
• Experience: At least 7 years of professional experience
• 4+ years of Product Marketing or equivalent experience, significant IT domain experience which may include systems management, enterprise database, cloud or analytics
