Netchannels is looking for a long-term W2 contractor for our client Cisco Systems. This is a junior role for someone wanting to grow into the Corporate Communications world of Analyst Relations.

POSITION: Corporate Analyst Relations Programs

This role is a combination of operations, communications, and marketing. The goal is to provide operational expertise to the global Analyst Relations team.

Design, collect and publish the Analyst relations metric on a quarterly basis for both the bi-annual audit by technology and region within Cisco and the Analyst Index for key signature research. Excel, Verint (survey tool) and PPT knowledge for this is needed.

Create and publish the Analyst Relations newsletter on a monthly basis. Set up alerts from key research firms to provide recent relevant research articles, input articles into 3rd party tool, including newsletters from top 3 analyst firms. Collect metric and update subscriptions to improve usage and adoption. Cross promote within Cisco for additional coverage in similar publications like Services Strategic Newsletters.

Manage quarterly post-earnings call with Investment Relations. Work with event center to plan, ensure modified PPT is disseminated prior to meeting, and schedule the event. Invite all tier 1 and tier 2 analysts from ARchitect to attend.

Maintain Cisco Tier 1 and Cisco Tier 2 lists in ARchitect (analyst relations database) . Add relevant new analysts to updated lists.

Manage post-earnings readout with analyst firm to key stakeholders within Cisco for the financial response to our earning.

Provide ad hoc metrics on analyst segmentation and other key metrics for tracking data.

Design and manage updates of posting for various content including Research Highlights, Reprints and Content from analyst firms on new platform (IBMC) for Employee communities.

Update and organize research on Salesconnect for sales portal – provide design changes as needed to this website for Analyst Relations.

Create best practices for educating stakeholders on briefing analysts.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong planning skills

• Resourceful and a creative thinker

• Demonstrate ability to organize and follow through

• Experience managing the planning and execution of corporate events

• Excellent interpersonal and executive presence skills

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Self-organized team player with a demonstrated ability to achieve objectives

• Able to operate in matrix organizations and manage multiple projects concurrently; comfortable working with remote colleagues and stakeholders; experience working across disciplines and geographies

• Comfortable with technology concepts and a general knowledge of the IT industry

• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field required
