Deserve is expanding our corporate communications, and we are looking to add you, a passionate and professional Social Media Manager, to our growing Marketing team. You will have a direct hand in driving Deserve's social media growth, as well as managing and engaging Deserve's audience on relevant social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram. You will bring to the table a distinct social voice and both deep understanding and knowledge of social media tools and techniques. You also have a solid grasp of analytics and reporting, and must be continuously striving to learn and improve.
Some challenges you will tackle as a Social Media Manager at Deserve:
* Create, curate, and publish relevant, engaging content, and develop social distribution strategies on a weekly basis to engage our target audience.
* Daily monitoring of social channels and participation in conversation where appropriate. Engage directly, or direct requests to the respective service teams.
* Engage influencers and thought leaders on social media to increase social outreach, in coordination with Deserve's brand positioning.
* Grow reach and engagement on all social media channels. Track and measure the success of social media initiatives by using reporting and analytics.
* Prepare reports and presentations on social media marketing activities. Present reports and presentations to Deserve senior leadership.
* Research the latest trends and best practices to stay up to date on social media developments and tools.
* Other duties, as required, and some travel, as necessary.
Competitive candidates will have:
* B.A. / B.S. degree from a top-tier university.
* 3+ years of relevant work experience.
* Strong copywriting and editing skills.
* Experience managing and growing social media channels for a financial or technology company.
* Experience rapidly growing and fostering a social media community.
* Strategic mindset, including the ability to recognize and adopt new tools and technologies quickly that make sense for Deserve.
* Passionate about digital marketing and knowledgeable about influencer marketing and social media (including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram).
* Experience working with integrated marketing and communications campaigns; creating, maintaining, and executing a social media calendar.
* Portfolio to demonstrate prior campaigns / social media success.
Familiarity with marketing tracking tools and analytics platforms.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment: places high value on open communication, authenticity, and transparency.
* Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate across teams and departments.
Impeccable organization and attention to detail.
* Positive, can-do attitude, maturity, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced start-up environment.
