We are looking to hire a Church Office Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative activities of our church. You will coordinate and manage the church office and provide administrative support to the staff and congregation. You will be a bridge between Pastoral, Congregational, and Community groups. This is a part time position (4-5 hours M-F)
Primary Responsibilities:
Welcome those who visit or call the church and make sure that the lines of communication are open and warm
• Support the creation of various publications (weekly bulletin, periodic letters, newsletter)
• Create presentations for worship (slides, announcements)
• Schedule appointments and room reservations
• Update information in church databases and church social media accounts
• Organize and maintain files
• Maintain equipment and supplies (schedule and work with service and repair people)
Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task without loss of efficiency
• A strong moral character and a role model of Christian behavior
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Shared belief in church programs. As Office Manager you reflect the attitudes of the church.
• Computer skills (Apple Mini) including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, Email, Power Point. Willing to learn/maintain new software (Pro Presenter).
