[KITlist] Food Pantry Worker | Ecumenical Hunger Program (East Palo Alto, CA)

Why EHP:


Join a team of caring people helping our neighbors in need with a variety of services. EHP, Ecumenical Hunger Program (www.ehpcares.org) is a non-profit agency that assists local families and individuals who are experiencing economic and personal hardship.


 Responsibilities:


 Sorting incoming food


 Stocking shelves / storing food


 Weighing incoming donations


 Inventory


 Preparing food boxes 


 Distribution of food 


 Supervising volunteers


 Other related duties


 Requirements:


 Able to work with wide variety of individuals with care and respect


 Ability to use fingers, hands, and the ability to reach and bend down


 Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds 


 Able to stand for long periods of time


 Able to perform repetitive tasks


 Must have basic math skills, writing, reading and comprehension


 Team player


 

Rate: $16.50-$17.00
