(v1.08 - 1541615316) - Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is seeking a driven and self-motivated Event Coordinator consultant for our technology client in San Francisco. This role will support our client’s monthly events. This exceptionally detail-oriented and collaborative individual will work cross-functionally within the organization and with external partners to ensure deliverables are completed and tracked in a timely manner and successfully support our client’s monthly events.<br />
Responsibilities:<br />
Open purchase orders in our internal procurement systems.<br />
Research venues and coordinate contracts and payment details.<br />
Onboard new vendors through legal and finance.<br />
Help with expensing and reconciliating versus budgets.<br />
Coordinate shipping of event in a box and marketing swag for events.<br />
Create event registration pages in Splashthat.<br />
Set up campaigns in SFDC and populate with details.<br />
Send chaser emails giving status of event registration.<br />
Coordinate the creation of email invites to events.<br />
Open records in event management system needed for tracking expenses.<br />
Upload leads into Marketo post event.<br />
Help create reports tracking progress of leads.<br />
Apply event tool training by keeping tool updated as requested.<br />
Capture meeting notes and follow-up with action items.<br />
Attend weekly content planning, operations, and logistics meetings.<br />
Flag issues or delays as they arise.<br />
Provide weekly status reports.<br />
Skills:<br />
BA degree in marketing or other related area and 1-3 years of experience in an events specific role within a tech company.<br />
Must be highly detail oriented.<br />
Strong ability to form relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.<br />
Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbally, with clear and concise messaging. Must have skills to be able to influence and collaborate effectively.<br />
Exceptional project management abilities. Ability to drive timelines and meet deliverables, with the poise and understanding of other groups and their timelines.<br />
Self-starter who is comfortable with a rapidly-changing environment and to prioritize workload.<br />
Ability to juggle multiple tasks without becoming flustered.<br />
Self-motivated to take action and be proactive.<br />
Not afraid to share ideas or new perspectives on processes.<br />
Technical mindset.<br />
Marketo, Splashthat, Coupa knowledge is a plus.<br />
Pay:<br />
D.O.E., W2 employee of Crawford Group (benefits available).<br />
Location:<br />
Fully onsite at client’s office in San Francisco. No phone calls please.<br />
Duration:<br />
Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to hire.
