Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is searching for a Senior Meeting & Event Planner for our partner client in San Carlos, CA. This is a direct hire opportunity. We are looking for a fun and dynamic person to help our client plan great corporate events for their wonderful clients!
Our client is one of the San Francisco Bay Area's premier meeting and incentive companies. We are searching for a professional who is energetic, positive and will enjoy creating fun, engaging programs for their clients. You must have experience working with clients as well as experience working with the supplier side such as hotels, familiar with air contracts and working in international DMCs. This role will require travel, domestic and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as principal liaison between client and suppliers during planning process.
- Negotiate with facilities and suppliers for services, in accordance with budget parameters.
- Budget Management, good with excel!
- Creative Thinker loves to do things just a little bit different.
- Like to work with people and have a good time doing it.
- You love to plan creative, fun, life changing programs for clients!
Skills:
- 3+ years related experience.
- MUST have experience planning hi-tech events along with other industries.
- Communication skill both verbal and written are needed.
- Applicants must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and willing to work in collaborative environment.
Helpful to have third-party experience working for a meeting/event company.
We use Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and industry wide software.
Travel required to fun and exciting destinations.
