We are looking for a long-term W2 contractor of Netchannels for our client Google. This is a role for someone wanting to grow into the Corporate Communications world of Influencer Relations. POSITION: Programs Manager (this is a support role) This role is a combination of operations, communications, and marketing. The goal is to provide operational expertise to the global Analyst Relations team.
Here are the activities of a Global Analyst Relations Programs Manager at Google:
• Organize and manage logistics for inquiry calls, analyst briefings, Strategy days, analyst visits, message testing and more.
• Communicate regularly with Google stakeholders and executives, ex-comms, PR, Industry analysts, analyst account executives, and analyst firms
• Partner with AR events team in supporting Google events and third-party events from analyst firms
• Create executive-level briefing materials for events, tradeshows, and high-level briefings and roundtables
• Represent AR team at briefings, strategy sessions, and stakeholder meetings as needed with AR managers and/or on behalf of AR managers.
• Plan and Coordinate team meetings/staff meetings
• Participate in smaller cross-functional teams as needed for special projects
• Maintain Tier 1 and Cisco Tier 2 lists the database . Add relevant new analysts to updated lists.
• Applications used: Outlook, PowerPoint, SmartSheet, Excel, Analyst Relations database
Required Qualifications:
• Familiar with Industry Analyst Relations
• This an onsite presence role either in San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle
• Strong planning skills
• Resourceful and a creative thinker
• Demonstrate ability to organize and follow through
• Experience managing the planning and execution of corporate events
• Excellent interpersonal and executive presence skills
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Self-organized team player with a demonstrated ability to achieve objectives
• Able to operate in matrix organizations and manage multiple projects concurrently; comfortable working with remote colleagues and stakeholders; experience working across disciplines and geographies
• Comfortable with technology concepts and a general knowledge of the IT industry
• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field required At Netchannels, we value differences.
