MFG/Distributor of products to semiconductor, life-science and industrial markets is looking for a Inventory Manager.

The Inventory Manager provides leadership guidance that enables the warehouse to achieve customer focused and financial goals while driving the implementation of Lean Manufacturing and is the resource responsible for eliminating waste and improving flow throughout the Warehouse. Understanding material inventories, our overall supply chain, and the schedules for individual work cells are also vital skills for this position. The ability to gain working knowledge of our ERP/PLM systems is paramount.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall management of warehouse and distribution operations including space management, inventory strategy, work procedures, safety improvements, etc.

• Responsible for daily management of distribution personnel to ensure adequate manpower and productivity.

• Maintains area standard operating procedures, ensuring information is accurate and up to date and reflective of the current practices and materials.

• Identify, develop, document, and implement standard and emergency operating procedures, as well as work instructions for receiving, handling, storing, shipping, or salvaging products/ materials through strategic planning in order to create a more efficient fulfillment system.

• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.

• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

• Achieves financial objectives by preparing an scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

• Respond to customers' or shippers' questions and complaints regarding storage and distribution services.

• Performs all job duties in a safe manner, consistent with Pacific Rubber policies and follows all ISO standards.

Preferred Requirements/Qualifications:

• BS in Business Management or related field

• Five (5) years working experience in a manufacturing warehouse or similar environment with leadership experience.

• Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems.

• ERP/PLM experience desirable.

• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.

• Knowledge, experience or training in Lean techniques and proficient in process auditing.

• Possess technical engineering aptitude to understand advanced level of product line knowledge.

• Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training and operate machinery safely according to company protocol.

• Experience working in an ISO environment.

Compensation is $90K per year with 3 weeks PTO + 7 holiday, Medical and 401K
