Channel Impact is seeking a part-time Communication Manager for a six (6) month project. The ideal candidate has a proven background in corporate communications, is a strong project manager and possesses excellent written, verbal and very strong Power Point skills. This is a W2 opportunity with Channel Impact.
What you'll be doing:
-Partnering with and providing primary support to our client's internal executive leadership
-Developing a communications matrix to engage, inform and educate our client's employees about the organization
-Creating unified messaging spanning the client's entire organization
-Developing an organizational voice, a voice of the customer, and internally-facing communications across a wide range of vehicles
-Executing the communication plan
-Developing executive slide decks. This includes distilling the story to tell as well as actually building the PowerPoint deck
-Copy writing the client's internal and external communications
You're a great fit if you have:
-7-10 years' combined corporate/internal/employee/executive communications plus project management experience for at least one large technology company
-Ability to build PowerPoint presentations. Excellent PPT skills are required
-Strong project management skills with proven success defining, managing, and delivering internal communications projects on time, on budget and with impact
-Clear and evident skills for collaboration and working in a small, high-functioning team environment.
-Strong ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
-Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing a cross-functional team, and willingness to be on point and out front in leading the project to solve a specified business need
-Ability to weave consistent messages across multiple vehicles such as Web, PowerPoint presentations, social media, email communications, event content, etc. is a must
-Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong PowerPoint skills. Must have the ability to tell a cohesive story through PowerPoint in a clear, visually compelling and concise manner
-BS/BA required, or relevant experience
