Job Description:Copywriter
Are you passionate about about winning hearts and minds through compelling copy? The Creative Services team at Polycom is looking for Copywriting services to create engaging and fun marketing content.
The independent contractor will collaborate with the marketing teams, and others as needed, to write copy for marketing materials including global integrated marketing campaigns, company website, online communications, email, advertising, collateral, video scripts, etc.
The ideal independent contractor will deliver exceptional writing for B2B using words to differentiate a brand and its products from others in the market.
Responsibilities include:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional marketing teams to write creative and compelling copy
- Accountable for written copy for company content used in global campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, product affinity, and customer engagement
- Ensure content is aligned with personas and stages of the customers journey
- Coming up with ideas and copy which influences and engages customers
- Writing content for print and digital ads, collateral, emails, videos, infographics
- Ensuring all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, tone of voice and quality
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years demonstrated experience writing/editing/publishing content
- Flexible writing style to address multiple audiences while maintaining the brand voice
- Experience creating content for the web
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and to create it
- Demonstrated experience writing video scripts
- Ability to develop new topics, research, and find a unique spin on existing topics
Onsite presence is required at Polycom in order to work closely with the existing team.
