Netchannels is looking for a talent for a client. This is a full-time contractor role that will be converted to a PERMANENT position for the right person.
Description:
We're looking for a top notch Senior Social Media Manager to drive our social strategy and execution in support of our business objectives. If you're well-versed in all aspects of paid-owned-earned social media, we would love to hear from you.
You know the ins and outs of action-based listening, community development, social channel management, social integrations into other aspects of the business, content mapping across the different channels and buyer journeys; have solid experience in training and enabling employees and executives; and you are passionate about working with influencers and advocates. You love to build things and know how to balance your creative and analytical sides..
You will be part of a cross-functional team to bring our campaigns to life using our and third-party social channels, and to manage our day-to-day social interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Grow our social footprint and maximize social engagement
- Manage brand reputation and customer relations on social media
- Mine and translate insights from social into actionable outputs
- Skillfully leverage social media to drive brand preference and leads
- Drive and execute on our social content and experience calendar
- Own and guide a community plan, including advocates and influencers
- Conceptualize and lead social campaigns, including paid and earned
- Implement a "test and learn" practice to improve the impact of our efforts
- Monitor and report on the impact of our social programs
- Proactively integrate social media with other parts of the business, online and offline
- Create and evangelize a social media training and enablement program
- Keep a pulse on latest social trends, tools and best practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum a bachelor's degree and 10-15 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to demonstrate success that drove tangible business results
- Strategic mind with the ability to turn concepts into actions
- Exceptional writing skills, a storyteller at heart
- Experience creating compelling messages for different audiences and buyer journey stages
- Proven track record of successful paid social initiatives, including PPC/CPC, CPA, retargeting, geotargeting, etc. across multiple platforms
- Deep understanding of the role of social media in integrated marketing and communications
- Excellent time management, program management and organizational skills
- A stellar communicator and presenter
- Ability to collaborate across groups and influence strategic initiatives
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines
- Agility and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and a sense of ownership for deliverables
- Web, digital, and SEO/SEM experience strongly preferred
